If we can identify and obey the principal spirit behind whatsoever we desire / want in life and obey it, we will have whatsoever we desire/want. Everything is a law; we get the opposite of the thing because of disobedience. Just like any would die by jumping off a 20-story building, because he/she has disobeyed law of gravity.
