This prayer is common among Catholics and revered as a powerful prayer. It is asking for the protection from evil through the intercession of the leader of the angels, Saint Michael the Archangel, granted by God. We encourage you to pray with us today in asking for this protection over the whole Church. For those wondering if this is considered worshiping an angel of God, be certain that this prayer is giving all glory, honor, and praise to our Lord, as all Catholic prayers do. Catholics use multiple definitions of the word "prayer." A prayer to God is considered one of many forms of Catholic worship. A prayer to a saint is considered as taking the form of a petition. This would be the same as asking a friend or family member to pray for you. Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel
St Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou
O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God,
cast into Hell, Satan, and all the evil spirits,

The Litany of Trust
From the belief that I have to earn Your love
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear that I am unlovable
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the false security that I have what it takes
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear that trusting You will leave me more destitute
Deliver me, Jesus.
From all suspicion of Your words and promises
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the rebellion against childlike dependency on You

From refusals and reluctances in accepting Your will

From anxiety about the future
Deliver me, Jesus.
From resentment or excessive preoccupation with the past

From restless self-seeking in the present moment

From disbelief in Your love and presence

O my God, I am so certain that you watch over those who hope in You,
