To begin with today, I’d like to greet the newest member of our crew, Coale. Great to have you as a part of our family here at the Preacher’s Corner. Also, we look into Luke chapter 4 from verses 31 to 37.

Today we discover the beginning of Jesus’ ministry, as revealed in the book of Isaiah, and how the people of His home town respond to him!

“As it is written...” Jesus reveals to us today the means God has given us to defeat our greatest enemy!

The best way to beat the Devil is through the written Word!

Today we look through the lineage of Joseph and see the connection to all the prophets and kings which would cause Jesus to be in Bethlehem to be born. Also we look into Luke 4 and the filling of Jesus with the Holy Ghost!

Today we cover John the Baptist’s conversation with the multitudes that would present themselves before him for baptism.

Today we look into Luke chapter 3 and consider both the baptism of repentance and the revelation of Jesus!

Today as we begin our journey through the Gospel of Luke we shall discover Jesus in the temple at 12 years of age! There are a lot of exciting events which are about to transpire and we are on the cusp of them today so don’t miss out!!!

Today we consider who the wise men were, why Herod and the people would be troubled by their message of the true-born King, and what the star was that guided them into where Jesus was!

Today we see how God works His marvelous plan in, not only bringing His Son into this world, but how He reveals His Son to all mankind through Simeon and Anna! If you need a pick-me-up this Monday you definitely don’t want to miss this one!
