It’s easy to read through the last book of the Bible and think how horrible those days will be. It’s also easy to wonder why God would allow people to suffer like that. But God doesn’t rejoice in death. He doesn’t rejoice in your pain and in your suffering. In fact, He is love and in His great love, He wants to rescue you. You don’t have to live in fear of the future because God shares with you. He doesn’t keep the last days a secret. He tells you so you know what is coming if you run from Him. It’s not that He desires destruction and separation. It’s that He desires for you to live in a place that is so much lighter than this world.
