The Prodigal Boys episodes

  • At The Movies! (God’s Not Dead)
Using both hook and crook The Prodigal Boys managed to get this podcast made after several failed attempts. This week we watched God’s Not Dead. Listen to us say things into microphones about it and hear our interpretation of it as 3 ex cult members.

  • Subway Sandwiches and Drone Strikes
Prepare your ears to Eat Fresh on this Friday afternoon. The Prodigal Boys talk more about waking up from the JW cult, the specific issues that woke us up, and a lot about subway. Enjoy!

  • At the Movies! (These Words…Something Something Hearts?)
Welcome to the birth of a new feature of The Prodigal Boys: The Prodigal Boys At The Movies! We decided instead of splitting these ideas out into two separate podcasts we would roll them both into a sweet and savory podcast taquito for your ear mouths to enjoy. Every other episode (don’t hold us to that) we will watch a faith based movie and give our thoughts on it. This week we watched a Jehovah’s Witness produced movie, These Words Must Prove to Be On Your Heart. Yes, that is really the title of this movie. I would say enjoy but I feel like we all know that isn’t the emotion you will be feeling.

  • GIVE EM THE BEEF
Don’t look directly into the ARC as it’s opened, your face will melt. Instead give this episode a listen where we talk at length about the Australian Royal Commission’s investigation into child sexual abuse in the Jehovah’s Witness Organization. We take a break to talk about Arby’s and knife fights so stay tuned.
As mentioned in the show please consider donating to The Lilith Fund’s Bowl-a-Thon 2017 for National Abortion Access by using the link below. Thanks!

  • The First Episode of the Last Days
Critical times hard to deal with are truly upon us brothers and sisters. Please join us on a journey through these troubled waters on the seaworthy ship that is this podcast, The Prodigal Boys. Your captains Nick, Josh and Ryan will guide you though what its like to leave an oppressive cult and all of the silly problems we encountered on the way.
