This week we join David Attenborough as he watches one of his own documentaries from 1989; "Lost Worlds, Vanished Lives". The doco follows David giving us an overview of the history of fossil science, but how much of this has been disproved by 2024?

Meanwhile Sam has been watching James Cameron's 1994 Arnie spy comedy True Lies, whilst Lewis has been watching Paul Giamatti in Alexander Payne's Oscar nominated The Holdovers.

We've flown to Peru and trekked our way deep into the Amazon to witness with our own eyes what many are already calling the worst film of 2024 & the death of superhero movies altogether. But how bad is it really? Tune in to find out.

To celebrate the release of Madame Web we've travelled back to 1994 to read an incredibly 90's comic arc - The Arachnis Project. We're joined by Spidey fan (and friend of the pod) David to discuss the first 3 issues of this story arc, our personal histories with Spider-Man & our favourite iterations of the character.

David's also been reading about trees in The Lost Rainforests of Britain, watching Riz Ahmed lose his hearing in The Sound of Metal & getting spooked by It Comes At Night. Meanwhile Lewis has been watching Oscar nominees The Zone Of Interest & Poor Things, as well as a film by Matthew Vaughn called Argylle. And Sam has been watching animated marvel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem & playing multimedia masterpiece Alan Wake 2.

Join us for a bumper-sized episode as we answer such questions as 'Who would win if the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fought The Hulk?", "Would the Fresh Prince's fighting past help him in a tournament?" and "Is it unfair to pit a Kaiju up against regular guy?"
