The real estate market in New Zealand is driven by population growth, inflation, rising incomes and the demand for a safe way to create wealth. We have a strong history of capital growth and bank confidence in lending against property investment. Our target market is first home buyers and property investors and they currently make up 50% of all real estate transactions.
With 38% of New Zealander’s living in rental property (up from 20% in 1980), demand for investment property has never been stronger. Our clients are creating equity faster than they can invest it, with the average New Zealand residential property geared to just 24.8% LVR.
