Drew Brees is still recovering from the broken ribs amd collapsed lung and unfortunately it showed in 52-33 win against the Vikings on Christmas Day. Brees had 0 to passes with 2 interceptions but the bottom line is this. 11-4 Saints WIN & now the 5-10 Carolina Panthers will host the Saints for the 2nd and final time in the 2020 NFL season. Teddy Bridgewater and his Panthers were close to winning that 1st meeting. Can they upset the Saints to end the season on a good note?

If Minnesota 6-9 wins against the Detroit Lions 5-10 this Sunday it'll be a 2020 season sweep of their NFC North division rival. Will Matthew Stafford start at quarterback for Detroit or not? If he does it possibly will be the final start as the Lions franchise quarterback ever. Changes are flowing all throughout the NFL once the 2020 season ends on January 3rd, 2021. And the winds of change will blow through Detroit as well as Minneapolis Minnesota. The eventual Super Bowl champions will have minor to major changes as well, it's just the way the NFL goes.

Tampa Bay is no joke. They're not to be taken lightly and when you do look over them you'll end up having a bigger loss to them than you would've if you stayed focused on them & not underestimated them. Tom Brady can still stretch the field accurately might I add, and the Buccs (10-5) defense isn't as good as the early 2000's defense but they'll still rock you. The Falcons (4-11) can only play the role of spoiler this Sunday. So many questions to be answered by their owner Arther Blank in the 2021 offseason. Will Matt Ryan return? Will key defensive players return with their high price tags?

Baltimore is 10-5 after starting the season off very slow and the Ravens have hope for the postseason if they can come up with a victory this Sunday in 50th all time game against the Bengals. Not much to say here but this, you win and most likely Baltimore you'll be in the 2021 tournament.

The Miami Dolphins are 10-5 going into Buffalo to face THE AFC East champions Bills. 12-3. Seeding for the post season is serious business and the Dolphins have to win in order to be in the 2021 tournament. Josh Allen looks amazingly unraveled, cool , calm, collected and unstoppable. Tua Tagaviloa for the Dolphins is a rookie but if he plays in if Ryan Fitzpatrick, he best make the right calls in the game the entire game. Or the Dolphins won't be going anywhere but back to Miami Gardens for the next 8 months.

The Steelers 12-3 are facing the worst nightmare this Sunday Jan. 3rd, 2021. This nightmare is called the 10-5 Cleveland Browns and Baker Mayfield is looking to avenge a huge mistake that cost his team an opportunity to win the AFC north. In this 138th meeting Baker Mayfield will statistically anyway battle Mason Rudolph of the Steelers. With Big Ben Roethlisberger not starting to rest for a postseason run for Pittsburgh that more than likely end in the 1st game. Isn't such a good idea if you ask me. But no one asked me and Mason Rudolph is the Steelers guy for week 17.

6-9 Cowboys vs. a 5-10 Giants squad that's ranked 10th in the NFL'S defensive points allowed category. While both offenses aren't much to talk about, Daniel Jones the Giants quarterback is an underrated rusher with the ball in his hands and the Giants should utilize more of the read option/RPO offense. The Giants must win so do the Cowboys. The 118th meeting of all time this New Year, January 3rd.

New England is now 6-9 after Monday night's loss to the Bills. The New York Jets have won 2 games in a row after losing their first 13 games straight. Finally a win streak huh New York? Welp, the best the Patriots can do in this 124th meeting is win to finish up at 7-9 & the Jets can go is 3-13 which is an obvious indication that there's a wind of change going to blow through East Rutherford N.J. at the end of the season. Those winds will begin in Massachusetts first though.

Florio went 9-7 & I went 10-6 in our week 16 predictions. With one week remaining in the NFL who will come out on top of a portion of the NFL regular season? Myself or Mr. Florio from Pro Football Talk? 16 games to end the 2020 NFL Season and the 16 games will be 16 divisional games! Looking forward to week 17 and the postseason run in the tournament, not too happy the season will end though. With covid-19 being what it still is and impacted the way it has I am sort of happy to see a "complete season, with an eventual Super Bowl LV (55) Champion.

Buffalo Bills are running the AFC East division like they've been the team on top of it for 20 years. Unlike the team that actually has been on top of it as Buffalo defeated New England 38-9 in Foxborough Mass. last night on the MNF finale'. Even though the season has flown by it's been a very long and rough NFL season. The Bills improve to 12-3 & the Patriots drop to 6-9. I went 3-0 in my week 16 primetime predictions thank God! With 1 primetime game remaining this Sunday, January 3rd, 2021, happy holidays and happy New Year NFL fans!
