Closing thoughts on the first NFL Q.B.'s Past to Present show. Explaining why I believe the NFL ignored the type of quarterbacks 2 to 3 generations ago that is the exact same quarterback who will play in this weekends week 19 games, regardless their color, creed, race, nationality. From 1980 to 2009 the NFL missed the vision of the quarterback position. A vision that the NFL has finally taken a hold of in 2021.

How did the NFL as a whole miss an entire generation of NFL quarterbacks that are exactly like the era of quarterbacks we are watching now? Even in this upcoming divisional round the generation of quarterbacks are exactly what the NFL as an entire entity ignored or switched from the position of quarterback to wide receiver, running back and tight ends.
