Joe Burrow isn't walking through that door to win the last 2 games of the season for you Cincinnati Bengals. He may not be walking through that door in the entirety of the 2021 season as well. The Houston Texans have major changes coming as well, interviewing former Colts and Lions head coach Jim Caldwell the last few days. Bengals 3-10-1 at Texans 4-10 isn't going to be a serious matchup as both teams are out of the 2021 tournament contention.

Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons 4-10 head north to Kansas City Missouri once again late in an NFL season. That means it's going to be unpredictably cold. 2016 was the Falcons last trip to Kansas City as the now retired tight end great Tony Gonzales played for both these teams. Patrick MaHomes II will lead the Chiefs 13-1 in this 10th overall meeting against Atlanta. All games have been played in the regular season.

Nick Foles will return to Jacksonville this Sunday to face the Jags, who he sparingly played for in 2019 because of a broken clavicle bone. Gardner Minshew II will return as the Jaguars starter after being injured for a few weeks and as reported "begging head coach Marrone to play since week 14" with that said the Bears defense will be in track and ready to win as the Bears defense and if they need to be offense as well.

Philip Rivers vs. Ben Roethlisberger yet again this Sunday in Pittsburgh. The Colts 10-4 will have their hands full with that Steelers 11-3 hard core 2nd ranked defense in points allowed per game. As the Steelers have had a 3 game losing streak trending in the wrong direction, the Colts have won 3 games in a row. They're hot and I don't think this will be the week in which their winning streak is snapped. Or will it?

The New York Jets are coming off of a win on the west coast against a Rams team expected to be in the 2021 tournament. 1-13 now are the Jets and now they'll face a Cleveland Browns team 10-4 that's living up to their 2019 expectations. This is a good Browns team and high scoring on the offensive side of the football. Will the Jets be able to slow Baker Mayfield and company down? We'll see & love those Baker Mayfield commercials too by the way!

The New York Giants have faced the Baltimore Ravens a total of 6 times. The 2nd meeting was in Tampa Bay Fl., Super Bowl XXV. This year the Super Bowl will be in Tampa again, (LV) & these teams hope to be there but a lot of things and miracles have to play out the right way for the Ravens and Giants to end up in their respective conference championship games, win them and then represent the NFC & AFC in Tampa for S.B. 55. Well it's the most wonderful time of year isn't it?

The 2nd Saturday Night NFL game of the 2020 season will also be the final Saturday NFL game of the season. The 5th Saturday game in the NFL if you include the 2 games from Sat. Dec. 12th. The Dolphins will battle the Raiders in this one for 40th time in the history of the NFL. Tua Tagaviloa vs. Marcus Mariota as Derek Carr is done for the year & possibly done for good with Raiders. It's Christmas Eve, Eve today but the work of predicting winners in the NFL week 16 continues on.

The 2nd NFL game this Saturday will include last year's NFC West champion and that's the San Francisco 49ers. In a weirder edition of NFL Saturday the Arizona Cardinals will host their rivals in their home and the 49ers temporary home. Weird right? Well since week 13 the 49ers were forced out of their stadium, their county (Santa Clara) their home state because of covid-19 outbreaks in the immediate area of Santa Clara. Glendale Arizona, State Farm Stadium has been the 49ers home and will be the rest of the season. The Cardinals must win against the 49ers in week 16 and win in week 17 vs. the Los Angeles Rams.

The 3rd Saturday NFL game played if you include last weekend's games and the 1st game for this Saturday's slate of 3 games to be played the day after Christmas. The Buccaneers will face the Lions in Detroit. This game is an old NFL alignment game. NFC Central to be exact. The Buccaneers beat Atlanta in week 15 and the Detroit Lions got beat in Nashville Tennessee against the Titans. Can Tom Brady get the Buccaneers into the 2021 tournament in 2 weeks or will these pesky Lons roar!?

The Vikings hopes for the 2021 tournament are dead. The Saints 10-4, have lost 2 games in a row and will meet the 6-8 Minnesota Vikings this Christmas Day at 4:30p.m. The matchup between these teams is right on time for the New Orleans Saints Saints because they can bounce back by defeating Minnesota. The Vikings have nothing to play for but their paychecks, pride, and well that's it. They can play the role of spoiler by issuing the Saints their 5th lost of the year and shake up the NFC playoff picture.
