The Dolphins get their shot to go to a 9-5 record this Sunday as they face division foe, New England. The Patriots are coming off of a lost in primetime (again) to the Rams, the same team the Dolphins defeated earlier this year. This will be the 2nd and final regular season matchup for these AFC East teams. Miami was a different team back in September 2020 when they lost 21-11. Tua Tagaviloa (#1) leads the Dolphins and Cam Newton, the vet, leads the Patriots (#1). Split of sweep for the 6-7 Pats?

The Seahawks bounced back big against the Jets in week 14 winning 40-3. The last time Seattle faced an under .500 NFC East team it wasn't fun or pretty and Washington is the current roadblock in the Seahawks path to the 2021 tournament. If Alex Smith starts at quarterback for the Football Team I can see Washington winning in what would seem "easily" but if Alex Smith doesn't start this game Sunday. It'll be interesting to see the outcome, either way Russell Wilson is going to have a long day against this Washington front 4 on defense. 6th in the NFL points allowed per game wow!

The Ravens have had a difficult up and down, topsy turvy kind schedule in the NFL the last 3 weeks. Wed. football, Tuesday night football last week and last nights win on MNF. 8-5 & battling for their postseason lives the Ravens get an easier opportunity in opponent Jacksonville. The Jags season was over 2 months ago 1-12 is their record with no hope in sight the changes will come yet again for Jacksonville and it seems this is the way it'll alwa5be for the Jaguars unfortunately since the firing of former head coach Jack Del Rio. I bet the Jags would love to see Del Rio stalking the sidelines on Sundays in that authentic, classic Jags black leather jacket, wouldn't ya'!?

Saturday Night football is back but only for the holidays. Teddy Bridgewater and the Panthers (4-9) will face Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers (10-3) in Green Bay Wis. @ 8:15p.m. These 2 franchises met last year in Green Bay and the Packers held on to win in the snow 24-16. Carolina gave Green Bay all they could handle and then some last November 2019. But a year removed are the Panthers. A new head coach and new franchise Q.B. is the theme for 2020, the theme is also no Christian McCaffrey at running back for Carolina. McCaffrey has battled injuries all season long. The Packers have battled the ability to get better on defense. Trap game for Green Bay? Wk 16 SNF in Tennessee and Wk 17 in Chicago. Hmmmmmmm.

The Prophet's Picks Football podcast is sitting on a record of [48-27] after the slate of games in week 14. Pro Football Talk top man Mike Florio is sitting at (45-30), after besting me in week 14 with a record of 10-6. I went 9-7 & going 0-3 in primetime game predictions was my downfall. Unexpectedly close with Florio right now. I lead by 6 total games though, 3 up in the win column and 3 less than he has in the wrong column, I have a feeling my time is coming though.

The Browns are here to stay. At least for the 2020 regular season anyways, an unbelievably amazing showing of offense last night for th Ravens and Browns on MNF. Week 14 ended with a HUGE bang, 47-42 Ravens won and it's amazing to see Lamar Jackson at work in games especially in primetime. My prediction was Cle. 24-17 Bal. and the Ravens had a whole lot to say about my predictions. 0-3 in primetime picks for week 14. 0-3 & now 24-20 overall in primetime predictions this season. With that said, only 3 weeks left in the regular season so it's put up or shut up time for this football podcast predictor.

Our first NFL Saturday game is this weekend at 4:30pm est. 2:30pm mtn. The Bills (10-3) will fly out and up to the mile high city to face the Denver Broncos. Denver is 5-8 after yesterday's road victory against the Carolina Panthers. This game won't be as easy for the Broncos 3-4 defense to catch of guard or get off schedule as the Bills quarterback Josh Allen is pumping on all cylinders with receivers Diggs, Davis, and Beasley. Sounds more like a law firm than a collection of one of the better receiver groups in the NFL. If Buffalo plays against the Broncos like they've played against Pittsburgh and San Francisco in these last 2 games. You're talking about a serious contender in the AFC for the reigning AFC Champs. Thank God it's Thursday! Thursday Night Football returns again this week to start week 15. A divisional game that pits Los Angeles against the Las Vegas. The Raiders lost in week 14 to the Colts and the Chargers actually won by 3points against the Atlanta Falcons. The Chargers have their future in growing star quarterback Justin Herbert and it won't be long before the Chargers will be in the postseason hunt. First things first for the Chargers though, win against their rivals the Raiders. Derek Carr is either returning to Las Vegas in 2021 or being shipped out and the time to decide this begins this TNF.

From a 6-0 primetime games correctly predicted streak [since week 11] to a record now of 6-5 primetime games predicted. Wrong on Thursday Night Football (12/10)& wrong last night too. 24-20 overall this year. The Steelers lost (11-2) last night to the Bills (10-3) & while Buffalo has looked great in their last 2 wins, Pittsburgh has looked horribly losing 2 of their last 3 games. Pittsburgh also has had a very unpredictable schedule situation this season. The Bills have only lost to Arizona in their last 7 games. The Steelers have to get it together asap. Buffalo is in great position for seeding in the AFC & as scary as it sounds, can get better with 3 games left. Very scary.....

T.P.P. vs P.F.T. returns!!! Since week 10 pitting my predicted winners vs. Pro Football Talk-s Mike Florio's predicted winners. So, I'm 39-20 after week 13 is my record against Mike Florio of P.F.T. (35-24) we both predicted New England Patriots winners last night and we were both wrong starting week 14 put 0-1. We'll see how this plays out in the Results Show p.f.t. vs. t.p.p. wk 14 on Tuesday Dec. 15th.
