Breona Micole is no stranger to the grind mode that it takes to make a music career work. As the owner of multiple businesses and a new found day trader she has taken her skills as an entrepreneur and applied them to her music as a singer/songwriter. On this episode we discussed her steady growth in the ability to craft stories, the influences that have inspired her creatively, and the change in plans that 2020 brought that actually allowed her to focus and lock in on a new vision as a music maker. For about 4 years now Youngstown producer Jake Clark AKA JBC Beats has been gaining some traction in his music career since starting fresh out of High School. He joins the show to talk about how social media has benefited his brand growth with a booming TikTok and newly launched Twitch stream that has allowed him to connect with his audience on a whole new level. He also shared how self releasing his own music featuring other local artists has been a huge plus side and has opened up a new option to get his music in front of the right ears. Jake is on his way to more great accomplishments in the coming years and we’re looking forward to getting a front row seat!

Since the age of 14 Irish Hip-Hop artist Emmet Nino Hayes has never strayed from the path of growing into his artistry. This week he joined the show to discuss what he’s overcome on a personal level, his outlook on the Irish Hip-Hop scene, and recaps his run of single releases so far in 2021 which will eventually lead to a new concept album that’s already being put into motion. With some more huge collaborations on the horizon as well he is continuing to grow year in and year out to expand his sound and showcase his multiple interests in style. This week we welcomed producer XCaliberZero AKA the producer you can grow with to discuss the role he’s played in sync so far landing him placements with the likes of ESPN, Complex, Netflix and more. Currently running his highly successful YouTube channel he’s on a mission to help music makers simplify the sync process and assist them in getting placements of their own. He touches upon his journey through college at Full Sail, his start as a producer around 2007 in the early internet days for producers, and being able to sustain a steady income to make music his full time career. Our hope this week is to give to you another angle as a music maker on how to create income in the world of sync and we were happy to have an expert to help us out!

Since 2018 we’ve done a lot of work with the super versatile mix engineer, producer and artist named Joe Louis and this week he joined us on the podcast! He shared great stories on the amount of ground he’s covered in just the last 5 years alone including his time in Atlanta after moving from his home state of Michigan and working on tracks for the likes of Stacy Barthe and Maroon 5. He also is currently living in Brazil as he pursues his own career as an artist which has helped him to lock in how he wants to present himself to the world. A good friend of the show and MC from Detroit known as O.G Proce$$ joins us this week! After a brief hiatus from the rap game he talks about his return to form thanks to his peer and collaborator JordanE420. In the midst of getting back in the swing of the music game he also is using music to help fuel his other business endeavors including his newly launched smoothie company which he has found just the same amount of passion in. Following the release of his first solo track “04 Pistons Freestyle” you’ll need to stay ready for O.G Process to drop a lot of new material in the very near future as he reignites the old flame of his lyrical gift!

For our 50th episode we welcomed producer, engineer and creative director HazeBanga all the way from San Diego! Fresh off his first Grammy win he joined the show to discuss his days in the group HS87, his work with artists like M.I.A., Mariah Carey and more, and his current projects surrounding his brand PM Playground which has seen new music, visuals and other art pieces from him and several close collaborators. With a new wireless MIDI device coming later this year Haze is starting to get his true vision into the world and push himself much further than just being your average everyday producer. We’re huge HazeBanga advocates here so this was nothing short of an honor to have him join us and contribute. The co-creator of Dead Wrong Records and a Philadelphia MC named King Shampz joins us this week! He talks about his long standing relationship with his brother Azzan and how they grew to love hip-hop over the years leading them both to become artists themselves. Following the release of 3 EP’s to start the year, the multi-talented Eliyya Lane guest stars this week the show! Currently residing in Nashville she has been steadily working on her craft and creative direction to have music be the driving force of her life. Having moved on from a publicist background that saw her working with rapper Lecrae in the early 2010’s she has taken many of those lessons and applied them to her own musical journey. While leading the concepts of her own visuals, launching sample packs, and now producing much of her own music Eliyya is taking her career in her own hands and it’s a truly great thing to see.
