In this next episode, we are picking up where we left off with episode 32, discussing major depressive disorder, continuing to talk about its features as well as some treatment options.  Although the character of Izzy does not undergo any formal treatment for depression in the film, The Year of Spectacular Men, she does come out of her depression over the course of the film as she learns more about herself and gains purpose in her life.  Ultimately (and this is for a future episode), we get hints as to why she was depressed in the first place - we'll come to that in a future episode so as to not give it away now.
