Looking after your sexual health can sometimes be a daunting experience. Talk of infections like chlamydia or syphillis, or HIV and understanding PrEP or PEP can be hard to wrap your head around. On this episode we speak with Nurse Jackie and learn from her 14 years experience working in and around sexual health networks, and get some of our listeners questions answered.
Fact Check: In this episode it was mistakenly referred that Syphilis can be cured through through a treatment of doxycycline (doxy) for 7 days. This is factually inaccurate as the course runs generally for 14-21 days, increasing the chance that a patient will not fully adhere to the regiment.
