In the spirit of Mighty Morphin May, as mentioned in our episode going over Season 2 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and right before we drop our discussion of Season 3, here's a special re-release of our Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the Movie review!
This week, we continue with Mighty Morphin May! Season 2 sees the introduction of a new villian, new rangers, and new zords! However behind the scenes, this season also saw the departure of three beloved cast members after their cries for better treatment fell on deaf ears.
This week on the show, we are excited to get started with Mighty Morphin May, and use this month to celebrate the 30th anniversary of those teenagers with attitude, their other worldly guides, and their over-the-top, hammy foes! We celebrate the show that had little faith put in it, but by sheer will and audience demand, solidered on to become a phenomenon; a ratings darling, and a merchandising juggernaut whose impact is still felt to this day.
Due to a sudden, unfortunate circumstance this week, we bring you a re-release of one of our most downloaded episodes of Sucktastic Cinema! It's the first time we ever sit down with our good pals Chris Hoehne and Joe Gilbert as a duo, and we all brought the smoke when riffing Street Fighter, this week on the Radkast!
This week on the show, it's another obscure documentary showcasing some strange subjects! This time, follow four podcasters as they travel to the midwest, in the middle of nowhere, to find themselves in a modern day Sodom and Gamorah...but with more Faygo...or less?
Or you can just listen to us talk about it! Jake Vehlewald makes his 10th podcast guest appearance to help us talk the doc Whoop Dreams, this week on the Radkast!
This week on the show, we're coming at you with another entry into our year by year retrospective of the 2000s! However, for the year we cover this time, we're not alone! Long time buddy and friend of the show Matt Swafford returns to help us talk movies like Shrek, landmark sports entertainment events like Wrestlemania X7, and we all remember the moment America changed forever. All those topics and more in the worlds of movies, music, sports, TV, etc from the year 2001, this week on the Radkast!
Well listeners, we didn't want to keep you waiting, so here is our review of Wrestlemania 39 night two! Just like with our review of night one, fellow Good Time Boy Jeff Wright is here to help us discuss such matches as, Bianca Belair vs Asuka for the Raw Women's Championship, Finn Balor vs. Edge Hell in the Cell, and the highly anticipated main event of Chody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Heavyweight Championship! All those matches and more as we conclude our beefy review of Wrestlemania 39!
This week on the show, in the spirit of our subject and in honor of our guest, for this edition of the Radkast we are The Good Time Boys Wrestling Podcast!
This week on the show, it's the final edition of "March-ial Arts Month!" For this episode, we talk a movie that took the good will built by the series first two entries...and almost flushed it down the toilet. It took the efforts of a scene-stealing villian, a legendary composer, and a solid showing for the franchises constant source of wisdom, to keep the film from falling flat completely.
This week on the show, it's another entry in March-ial Arts month! For all the film adaptations of video games, the movie we talk about on this episode is certainly one of the worst. Cringy dialogue, horrible miscastings, poorly filmed fight scenes, cultural appropriation, this one has it all!
