Cal to make their way to DC in order to persuade the federal government to lift the state of emergency that remains due to the 'rona.

This is the debut of my new series covering stories of struggle that bring forth positive outcomes despite the difficulty. I sat down with my sister Rachel who was a freshman in 2020 when the world went sideways. The last two years have been a struggle for her, at times she was studying 40 hours a week for a single class. She has a unique situation where her brain doesn't just learn best a certain way but her brain only learns a certain way and schooling shifting to online inhibited her ability to learn the material severely. Despite all of that and almost giving up on school she made it through and will be applying for RT school this spring. She found that going through this made her stronger and showed her just how tough she is. She now feels prepared to take on whatever life can throw at her and has seen a significant increase in her confidence, something she has struggled with.

We all have struggles in life and it's easy to let them bring you down. I want to share those stories of people's struggles and show the blessings that can come from them to promote encouragement for those who find themselves in struggle.
