The Rap Report

In today's show we talk about Offset's apparent ducking of Chris Brown's fade invitation, and Dame Dash's lackluster apology to end his hate tour. Despite being disappointed, as usual, we had to discuss the Grammy's. They were surprisingly deep in some rap categories, but still made plenty of mistakes. And they managed to still offend us by cutting off Drake's acceptance speech and having J Lo do a MoTown tribute. Also, Cardi B and Offset seem to be back together. If you're surprised, you're not paying attention...

For new music, we discussed:

Stalley - Human

Joell Ortiz, The Heatmakerz, and Fred The Godson - Gorrilla Glue

Sean Price and Small Professor - 86 Witness

Please review the show and share it on all of your social media. Thanks!

The boys are back!!

Welcome to season 2. We've got some new rap thoughts and would love for you to hear them.

Up front in news, we discuss Tekashi's cooperation with his prosecutors, Desiigner calling out Kanye for abandoning him, Future not using lean anymore, the Super Bowl's extra this year, the Dungeon Family Reunion Tour, Mass Appeal's Starting Five mixtape, 21 Savage fighting deportation, and Game vs Joe Budden.

In new music, we're discussing Boogie - Everything's For Sale, Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y - How Fly, and Big KRIT - TDT.

Please excuse the audio hiccups as we rework out the kinks, and be sure to rate the show and share it with your friends. Thanks!

Who can say Lil Uzi Vert is a rockstar?  Why is Joe Budden so old and ornery? The fuck is Kkorn Flexxin? Why are rappers always doing too much? Why did Young M.A., Logic, and Wale all drop trash albums? Why is Jidenna's album so good but slept on? Find out in Episode Negative 9 of The Rap Report!

00:00 Drake - More Life

Correction: Baka was accused of human trafficking, for allegedly forcing a woman into prostitution and taking her money (pimping?). He was convicted of assaulting the woman, and she refused to testify against him so it seems that the other charges were dropped.
