Play this shit in the hood one time lil bitch I'm back and poppin! Your favorite hip-hop critics are back! Posting a day late but it's all good!

In today's episode:

00:00 Intro shenanigans

Maybe one day we'll start getting these out on time

02:00 Da Vinci's issues with Vince Staples' Summer 06

The point that I was trying to make here is that everyone's definition of what makes a great emcee is different. There's no such thing as absolute wrong or right here. So we can talk all day about what we as fans want from an artist, but at the end of the day, our opinion matters way less than his/hers. Artists should strive for their own visions of greatness, not mine or anyone else's.

00:23:25 We finally name the albums up for discussion

00:25:45 Scarface's memoir, Diary of a Madman

To be clear, this is a good book. But it could be so much better!

00:50:36 Kiss The Mack, the possible Beanie Sigel and Jadakiss album

02:02:30 Young Thug - Jeffrey

02:37:12 Winner of the week: Isaiah Rashad

02:40:00 If hip-hop is a drug, when did you last get high?

Welcome to The Rap Report!

We finally did it! Knowledge and The Verbal Arteest made a podcast!

In this episode we discuss:

• Sadat X - Agua
• DJ Khaled - Major Key
• Schoolboy Q - Blank Face

Sorry the audio quality is crap, we're working on that! That's why this is episode negative one, and why there seems to be two intros*. Expect another episode very soon!

*We've been talking about doing this for ages and now we've finally made it happen. But, it turns out that podcasting isn't the easiest task in the world. So there's a whole ~45 minute segment that we decided to cut from between the two intros. It wasn't the worst audio ever, but there was too much dead air for us to not even be talking about the selected albums. These negative episode numbers will continue for a little while until we get better.
