  • #93: Book Club | Who is Maud Dixon? by Alexandra Andrews

‘Who is Maud Dixon’ by Alexandra Andrews is a  a fun and fresh premise with lots of mild twists and turns, some obvious, others not so much. I can’t really share the plot with you without spoiling anything, but that’s also what’s fun about this novel -- I had no idea where it was going.

  • #88: Book Club | Yellowface by R.F. Kuang

Yellowface by R.F. Kuang is so sharp and so electrifying, and such an honest and fantastic look behind the curtain into the world of book publishing. Kuang threaded the needle so well with topics about race, plagiarism, and internet trolls alike. It was so fun to read, especially if you love a good satire. The dark humor dripping from every page was hilarious, so raw, so honest, and so entertaining. Pair all that up with a writing style that felt like reading someones angry diary entry, it was basically impossible to put it down at night.

  • #87: Back to School Toy Clutter

There is SO MUCH to say on this topic, especially if you’re in the thick of it with babies, toddlers, and little kids. Because again, it’s not just their toys. It’s their sporting equipment, outdoor gear, their individual and unique hobbies that all bring in various items, books, stuffed animals, little art projects, collections of XYZ, it’s a lot to keep organized and manage.

Though right now, as we head into back to school season is a wonderful time, and a natural rhythm, to go through your home and do what you have to do. Today, we're going to focus on indoor play spaces in your home by discussing:

    • Setting Boundaries
    • Mixing and Matching Sets
    • Questioning Large Items (like train tables, dollhouses, etc.)
    • Focus on Toys that are Open-Ended
    • Up-Cylcing
    • Toy & Book Rotation
    • Reclocation
