How can we help survivors of abuse feel safe and at home in the Church? In this episode, we speak with Carrie, a survivor of abuse from someone who represented the Church to her. She shares about her decade-long search for resources within the Church to help her experience healing and her decision to start an apostolate to meet the needs of people like herself.
What does she recommend? Her hope is that everyone in the Church will work to build a bridge to survivors so that they can have the support they need as members of the body of Christ.
