In our last interview with Jericho, he exemplified a number of qualities that we think can help everyone be successful in their apostolates. Jericho started with the end in mind and understood from the beginning that he wanted to help people become disciple-makers. At the same, he understood that some people are just getting started and helping them establish a meaningful relationship with Jesus is the important first step.
Jericho also operated with what we call an expectant spirit, that way of remembering that God has a plan for our life and for others too. God invites us into that plan and asks us to participate with him in the work of saving the world. When we remember that God has something for us to do each day, we live differently and allow him to work through us.

How to Invite Someone to Follow Jesus - Episode 30
How do you invite someone to follow Jesus? This is a difficult question to ask, and for a number of reasons. Are we judging someone if we ask this? What if they say no? What if they take offense? And yet, this is at the heart of the Christian life - telling other people about Jesus and inviting them to follow Him, just as we have been invited ourselves. In this episode, Mari and Dan discuss how and when to invite people to commit to following Jesus to help you discern the best way to do this in your apostolate.

How a Retiree Learned to Recognize Who God Wanted Her to Befriend - Episode 28
Our guest Elizabeth from the previous episode had such an easy time finding people to invite to her Bible study that we wanted to spend more time talking about her approach. The most important thing she did was remain indifferent to whom God asked her to invite. When she felt an inclination to speak to someone, she followed it and befriended whoever it was. None of the people in Elizabeth's Bible study ended up being Catholic, and that was exactly how God wanted it.
