Set on the moon, Artemis by Andy Weir is an easy read, considering it's science fiction!

Both Corinne and Eleonor enjoyed it...although there were parts to complain about, as there always are!

The Language of Flowers - apparently a real thing from Victorian times, and so the main character in this book, Victoria, uses flowers to communicate with the important people in her life.

Join us as we talk about this book, with two quite different opinions, and are joined by a very special guest: Winston the three legged cat!

As for other things that we're listening to, reading and watching...we're not doing much. It's October and we are getting tired as we come to the end of the year.

This May saw the introduction of a Nigerian author to our library with the book Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. It's a fantastic book, and Chimamanda is an amazing author. Corinne also did an amazing job with pronouncing Chimamanda's name and some of the other Nigerian names and words.Zoe joined us for this episode - as getting our usual, physical, book club together was proving challenging. But unfortunately we had some technical issues, and so there are parts where Zoe is a little bit hard to hear. In March we read all three of the Rosie Books (otherwise known as the Don Tillman Series) by Graeme Simsion.
