Join me in The Red Treehouse as we explore a genuinely scary phenomenon--the Whistler. There's something terrifying about knowing you're not alone, hearing someone close to you--but not being able to see them.

How would you react if, while out in the woods or on the water or in your bedroom, you knew someone was out there, stalking your every move but staying out of sight?

What is it? How does it attack its victims? And is there any chance of escape if you were to ever come face-to-face with this vile creature?

Join me in The Red Treehouse as we explore a scary legend from Latin America--La Llorona or "The Weeping Woman." Encounters with La Llorona go back nearly 500 years and are as unsettling as the backstory. Often used as a warning for wayward children to walk the straight and narrow, the story of La Llorona will have you second-guessing whether you should walk around in the woods.

Who is La Llorona? And what would you do if you came face-to-face with her in the woods?

A fascinating variation to the Man with a Hook for a Hand urban legend, Cropsey terrorized Staten Island, New York in the 1970's. A type of Boogeyman, Cropsey scared kids all over NYC into good behavior and avoiding the woods.

It's all spooky fun and scary stories, until it isn't--because Cropsey turned out to be a real-life Boogeyman.

Who was the real-life Cropsey? And how would you react to the news that a supposed urban legend turned out to be a real-life nightmare?
