The Reid Wilkins Show with Jay Milne

To start the show, the boys dive into the news regarding Evander Kane and his upcoming surgery on his hips/hernia.

Reid and Jay get to some audio bites of what Kane had to say to the media, breaking down what he said about his pain and his surgery.

After a bit of talk about Evander Kane, Reid gets into the "Off-Topic Topic" for William Huff where Reid brings up the old names of the current NHL trophies and which ones you would rename.

Reid and Jay then have the Afternoon Debate!

Matty, Jay and Reid also talk CFL, highlighting Tre Ford starting against the Blue Bombers this weekend.

Once his time on the show is over, Reid introduces his mystery NHL player, who he wishes was drafted by a different team, who is celebrating his birthday today.

During hour two, the fellas continue their broadcast from The Garneau Metro Cinema continuing Reid's Top 3 for Fuge Sausages.

EE Alumni Jed Roberts calls into the show as well to talk about his time playing the game and how he spent his time on a bye week.

After that, Jay and Reid continue looking in the EST inbox and the Nasty Chat while breaking down the wise words of Roberts.

In hour one, the boys opened up their show from the lobby at The Garneau Metro Cinema where the ESTYs will be held later tonight.

The boys preview that, while discussing some of their favourite movies leading into the "Off-Topic Topic" for William Huff.

To close the hour, Reid and Jay get into Reid's Top 3 for Fuge Sausages hitting on the top three stories from the Oilers' training camp!

In the final hour, Avalanche PxP Conor McGahey joins the show to talk about his time coaching college soccer and the biggest news regarding the Avs in the mile-high city. He talks about Landeskog's return as well as the golf tournament they held this morning. McGahey was also the PA for the Denver Broncos, so he also shares his thoughts on their season thus far.

After he leaves, former CFL defensive back and two-time Grey Cup Champion Jeff Hecht phones in to talk about the CFL, his time playing, some instances of passing interference he's had in his playing days, the Elks and more!

Once Jay and Reid recap what he had to say, they get into some more texts leading into Crunch the Numbers for Gallo LLP.

The boys continue their duck talk and pass interference discussion before welcoming Kavis Reed to talk about the Elks and some of his experiences with pass interference.

They also talk about the UofA Golden Bears while hitting some texts in the EST inbox.

After he goes, the boys break down what he said before getting into Reid's Top 3 for Fuge Sausages where he talks about the top 3 unofficial positions on a football team.

In the first hour, the boys talk about how the Oilers' Young Stars Classic went before diving into some pass interference conversation.

Reid and Jay highlight some news coming out about the status of Evander Kane's injury with it being reported that Evander Kane should be getting surgery within the next ten days.
