I met Joff awhile back through our mutual friend and his business partner in Ruck Nutrition, Charles Rucker. Every interaction was positive and I found that we share a lot in common so I knew I wanted him on the show.

What I admire about this man is how he’s able to manage the variety of things he has going on while prioritizing his family first and foremost. Many individuals get lost in success and tend to lose sight of what holds true value, this is a prime example of someone that does not fall into that trap.

Additionally, we learn about how he and past guest Ruck become friends which turns into a business partnership.

This led to him owning an elite facility in Nashville, TN where he has trained almost every type of individual along with the team he has built.

His other love, hunting has also been a massive inspiration in his pursuit of passion. From turkey calling championships to elk hunts this man is dedicated to work at what he loves.

He found that bringing these two worlds together is where his heart lies and at 62 years old he hasn’t hasn’t slowed down at all. Jeff still has a lot of gas left in the tank and much he’s working towards.

Today, we introduce our guest AJ Jones. Previous guest, Dylan Lee Gentry made this connection and knocked it out of the park.

AJ started his journey in a small Alabama town. Throughout his childhood he was just trying to figure out where he fit in and who he was. His specialty was athletics, specifically basketball and he went on to play at Syracuse in New York. Shortly after, he injured his Achilles which ended his career.

In time, he met his now wife and she gave birth to their first child soon after. This forced AJ to focus on his duty as a man. His fathers work ethic taught him to do whatever he needed to do in order to survive. Working three jobs, he changed directions ultimately leading him into the world of sales.

Today, he’s in the business of helping others succeed and now lives a life of financial freedom with his family. Thing is, he’s just getting started.

Back when I lived in his area, Cory was my BJJ coach and someone I connected with when it came to views/ideas and interests in life. Not only is he an absolute expert at his art, but I knew he had a killer story early on.

Cory takes us back to his childhood and shares the traumas and experiences that we paved his path towards greatness. Finding inspiration in wrestling this led him towards his pursuit of jiu jitsu. In turn, this created the opportunity to train in Brazil and become a world champion.
