I’ve been a relationship guy almost my entire adult life. Most people haven’t been in committed relationships or marriages for almost all of their lives. I’ve been single for about a year in the past 30.

And half of them have been nothing but loving, fun, and full of happiness. Thank Christ. The first half of my adult life was rocky as fuck.

I was thinking about how much fun my Bride and I have today. Whether we’re out in public, chilling at home, or messaging each other back and forth during our workdays, one thing is clear: We love laughing and being each other’s cause of that laughter.

I talk about how it’s always been that way for us and why it will continue until one of us passes on. It’s not some big secret, how to make a marriage happy and healthy. And I’m willing to share how we’ve made it happen for a decade and a half.

I hope you all have something similar. And if you don’t, perhaps today’s episode will help you find that. Everyone should have laughter and humor in their lives.

What else would you expect from a career creeper and a child-rapist? He’s never given humanity a shred of evidence of being a decent human being. So naturally, he responded in his typical, rapey way.

Shit has been rough around here lately.

We thought we were about to lose my father two days ago. He’s still not out of the woods yet, by a long shot. On top of that, our beloved dog Mooch is having some health struggles. Though she has a decent chance of recovery, it’s not guaranteed.

And it’s going to cost us a small fortune. But I’ll do whatever it takes to ensure we have as much time with her as possible.

Still, neither of these two stressful things brought me to tears. Something surprisingly unimportant finally did. It was odd, but also wonderful. I needed that emotional release. I’ll tell you about what happened in today’s episode of our podcast.

Thank you for taking an interest in my life and what’s going on with it. I appreciate you lending me your ears. Struggles are inevitable. Dealing with them is part of life. I’m doing my best to hang in there and deal with them in a healthy way.

Even if that means letting emotions out at odd times. You’ll see. &:^)

Man, we were damn near planning my father’s funeral 24 hours ago.

We got some rough news about his COVID recovery. It wasn’t going well. Then we heard he wasn’t eating or drinking anything. And they were worried that he didn’t have long to live.

Fortunately, we received a different story from a nurse who works in his wing. She seemed to have a finger on the pulse of his situation better than the head of nursing, who made it sound more dire than perhaps it was.

So we visited today to see for ourselves. My daughter went with my mother and me. She wanted to be sure to see her grandad, in case the end was near.

I talk about what we observed and the feelings that go along with it. We had a good visit. He’s faring better than we were told just 24 hours ago. But he has a long road ahead of him in his recovery.

Well, I hope a longer road. I’m not ready to lose him yet.

Man, I knew that would be a lot of fun. It was the first time I had a face-to-face conversation with my friend Weird Paul Petroskey. It was as cool as I thought it would be.

It takes a real chickenshit, coward asshole to sexually assault or rape a woman.

Pieces of filth like Donald Trump and the shit-stains who support him are the target demographic in this statement. Though certainly, other sick bastards do it too. 1 out of 6 women have been sexually assaulted or raped by the time they are college-aged.

And this Cornell gang rape thing has me seething. I really wish vigilante justice was more common. I so badly want to inflict pain and suffering on men who rape women.

I had a feeling I wasn’t going to like the news we received about Mooch’s health today.

Though it was unlikely we’d hear that she had nothing wrong with her, I still hoped that would be the case. Sadly, it wasn’t. Still, we have reason to be optimistic. And at least we received the prognosis right after they did her ultrasound.

She walked out of there with a shaved belly. I had to laugh. It felt funny to feel her bald belly when I picked her up. Check out those photos above.

Humor helps me deal with difficult things in life. I will tell you all about her prognosis and what the next steps will be, now that we have an idea of what’s going on with her. She’s not out of the woods yet, and this will certainly cost us a small fortune, but to hell with pinching pennies.

Mooch deserves the best care she can receive. And I’ll be damned if she doesn’t get it. Thank you for listening to this one and for caring about our little Mooch.

Oh man, it’s nice to be back. I sure missed our little Mooch.

She had a wonderful time with her Auntie. She hadn’t seen her for several weeks, so it was nice that they had some time together. Sis said that Mooch didn’t have even one accident.

I was happy to hear that. It’s wonderful that they enjoy their time together on the rare occasion we go out of town for a bit. But still, I find myself missing our little dog. I kept waking up in the middle of the night at the cabin and reaching over to pet Mooch.

And she wasn’t there. That was lame.

But all is right in our world now. I talk about this in today’s podcast episode. And what’s coming up next this week, now that it’s back to the usual routine. There is plenty to do, as always, plus a few extra things. Mooch’s vet visit is tomorrow.

They’re gonna check to be sure her kidneys are functioning correctly. If you have any vibes or prayers for Mooch, we would all appreciate it greatly. Thank you so much for caring about my writing and our family.

I theorize that damn near everyone in America knows that Donald Trump is a lying, thieving, con artist, and child rapist.

It’s just that some folks still don’t give a shit. The most brainwashed members of Cult 45 will never give up on supporting this morally bankrupt piece of filth. Their racism and bigotry are worth the price they pay, even if it bankrupts their deplorable asses.
