How are you all doing? I hope good things are happening for you today. It’s a decent day here in Idaho. Other than triple-digit temperatures. That is some bullshit, in my opinion.

Have I said, “Fuck summer” lately? I could truly do without that one season, every year.

But it’s ok. We’ll be heading into football season, leaves turning color, and cooler temperatures sooner than we think. I adore fall. Spring, too. Hell, I’d even take two winters if I didn’t have to go through summer. Not a fan.

Holy Christ, cracking a safe, today’s visit to the care center was something else.

Perhaps my pop was in a good mood. Maybe he was testing out some new material on the family before he sprung it on the rest of the residents at his care facility. Hell, he could have even been serious, I suppose.

All I know is, he’s planning a heist.

He even tried to get my daughter in on it. Perhaps a little wheelman(woman) action in her new Lexus. No idea, but whatever was going in, he sure made us laugh today. And I needed that. The visits with him are often difficult.

But today was different. Check this one out and tell me what you think in the comments. While I hope my father isn’t planning to hit the Trump-level of criminal lawlessness, I’m just happy that he was laughing most of the time during our visit. That makes my heart happy.

Christ in a Superman suit, I didn’t see that coming.

Dean Cain, known for his role in TV’s Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, has joined the domestic terrorist group ICE. You know your acting career is in the shitter when you sign up to round up immigrants as a half-Asian American.

His father is Japanese. Superman was technically an immigrant, if you want to split hairs about the subject.

I can’t believe how ignorant people can be. Though Donald Douchenozzle is pretty goddamn stupid, his MAGA followers are even more stupid and THEN some. To fall for a criminal child rapist’s bullshit lies and elevate him to a god-like status says a lot about millions of people’s intelligence. Or a lack of it, rather.

This Pete Kegsbreath bullshit has me thinking…

I wrote an article this morning about how he seems to feel that women shouldn’t have the right to vote. He’s been married several times, accused of sexual assault, and is a known alcoholic. I cannot imagine he has a very satisfying love life.

Women are becoming more choosy about the men they attach their wagons to. Fucking good.

We all deserve the type of person who best matches our interests, manners, and morals. You’re not going to attract a wonderful human being when you have a dogshit soul. Men need to step up their game if they hope to find an awesome life partner.

It works in reverse, too. But it feels like men need to hear this more than women. I talk about that in today’s podcast. I appreciate you letting me go off on sexist, misogynistic men like Millimeter Peter and lending me your ears. Thank you, as always!

I’ve been a bit of a bad boy lately.

I can acknowledge that. I’ve never been one who can’t admit when he’s wrong. It’s been a bit of a rough week, and I’ve been a bit snappy with the people I love a couple of times.

Unacceptable.

I feel bad on the rare occasion when I’m not at my best. But I do cut myself some slack and realize that I’m a human being. Mistakes sometimes happen. So I do my best to figure out why and attempt to do things differently.

I’m having lunch with my Mom and my daughter, then visiting my Father at his care facility. That adds about 4 hours to my usual busy day.

And that’s ok. I still got up early to get my new article and podcast episode finished. It’s a juggling act, much of the time, but I work hard to fit it all in. And I appreciate you being here for it.

What’s up, Y’all?

Today’s question: How many of you have ever fallen short of other people’s expectations? Whether it was your parents’ demands, the teaching of your church, or from people on the opposite side of the political spectrum, it’s easy to feel completely different than the way they expect you to feel.

Fuck all of that. I’m 50 and comfortable with who I am at this stage of my life. I cater to nobody if I don’t agree with their idea of what I SHOULD be.

In today’s podcast episode, I discuss the idea of standing up for what’s right, regardless of what some douchebag has to say about it. I know that I’m a good person who fights for the rights of everyone. Except for racist, bigoted assholes. What they think doesn’t matter.

Hey Everyone.

Man, I’ve been thinking about some things today. After conversations with my Bride, my daughter, and my Mother, there’s only one thing that’s certain:

We’re going to be making a move to Oregon. And I’m curious what that looks like.

A lot of it will depend on several factors. My father’s health. My mother’s willingness to follow us to Oregon or not. And what Traitor Trump does to this country. Look at all of the damage he’s done in just the past six months.

The future is never certain. We have the right to make changes and control our own destiny. In today’s podcast episode, I share a few things that will heavily influence where I’m writing these articles and recording these podcast episodes a year from now.

There’s a lot of uncertainty. Difficult decisions will be made. But I know that we’ll figure it out and do what’s best for me, Mai, our children, and extended family. The future is wide open.

I had an “interesting” fella try to bring the noise today on my new article. I just don’t get these people who visit my blatantly liberal Substack page and think that they’re going to start a bunch of bullshit. Like seriously, nothing better to do?

In all actuality, probably not. They lead subpar, underachieving lives, most of them.

I have too much going on to pay it significant attention. I just reply with a bit of quick snarkiness and move along with my day. I have far better things to do than to engage with a fuckwit. There’s much to do in the battle against fascism and Pedo Trump.

Man, today has been something. From right before I started drinking my morning coffee, until shortly after recording this episode, I’ve seen so many bullshit things related to Trump.

And it makes me fucking mad.

Patriots throughout American history have had moments where they were forced to take a stand. Some have been remembered for decades. A few, for centuries. The survival of the United States hasn’t always been easy.

And sometimes, the rule of law has had to be broken. When tyranny threatens innocent Americans, others must rise to defeat it. We are in that same situation, here in 2025.

Give this one a listen, I appreciate you lending me your ears. Pedo Trump is breaking laws left and right and doesn’t think that anyone can stop him. But he’s dead wrong. Thank you for checking this one out, and keep the good fight going.
