The worst people you’ll ever “meet” are the ones who squat in your comment sections.
Notice that I didn’t say “live” in your comment sections. Because it’s entirely a choice whether you keep them around or not. You can argue and banter with them, wasting hours to prove you’re right and they’re wrong. You can block and delete them, never having to deal with such ignorance again.
Or you can let them hang out, ignoring everything they post, while allowing them to contribute to your algorithm’s growth.
I talk about the pros and cons of these different approaches, and how my outlook has changed regarding my online enemies over the past 20 years. I appreciate you giving it a listen. Thank you for lending me your ears on this one.
You’re always welcome in my comment sections, any time. Your support means the world to me.

I am never fully happy with my Substack. I wonder what that would feel like at times.
To be 100% satisfied with what I do daily. It would be amazing not to stress out about every little detail. To look at each day and think, “Hell yes, I did my part to make the world a better place.”
I’m proud of what I do. But it never feels like it’s enough.
I have an idea, though, about how to make this daily newsletter and podcast of mine feel more successful. If I could help even more people with it, I’d love that. I really want the best for every member of our Mouthy Militia. So another pivot is necessary.
I’ll tell you all about it in today’s episode. I appreciate you being here for it. Thank you for lending me your ears. It makes me feel as though I’m on the right track with these small changes to the formula.
I’m going to get there someday. And it will be because of our Mouthy Militia. You guys are the best.

“jUsT pUlL yOuRsElVeS uP bY yOuR bOoTsTrApS…”
The favorite catchphrase of entitled MAGA men everywhere. Even though most are living unfulfilled, mediocre lives. You’d have to be to support a dogshit human being like Pedolf Shitler.
They’re in no position to be lecturing anyone about ANYTHING. Especially down in Mom’s basement.
I was thinking about the advantages that some have in achieving their goals and dreams. Most intelligent, enlightened people realize their privilege. Many more, though, are clueless about the factors that propel them forward in life or leave them lagging behind.
I talk about this in today’s podcast episode. I know the advantages and disadvantages I have as a daily writer, podcaster, and content creator. I embrace the things helping me in my goals and dreams. I know what holds me back and work my tail off to overcome them.
I hope you do the same. Whether it comes easily or it’s supremely difficult at times, I believe in you.

My daily routine reminds me of the movie Caddyshack.
Most of my days are almost exact replicas of the ones before them. Sure, Mooch and I have different conversations and all of that, but they’re pretty one-sided. I’ve gotten good at reading her facial expressions.
She usually needs food, water, and outside. Pretty much in that order.
She tends to interrupt my 12 to 15 hour daily grind here on Substack. But that’s ok; she’s important. It’s nice having someone lying against my leg while I put these kinds of long, similar hours in daily, attempting to influence change for the better.
In today’s podcast episode, I’m going to give you a detailed description of why my days are almost always the same. And what it takes to put 80 to 85 hours a week into my writing, podcasting, and content creation.
This was a fun one to record. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for lending me your ears. Your support means the world to me and Mooch.

It makes me so fucking angry that a complete loser like Trump has caused so many relationships to end. Family, friendships, romantic relationships-it’s insane how much of a cultish following he has.
Especially since he’s a dogshit human being. And a dumbass.
I talk about this in today’s podcast episode. I guarantee that nobody in US history has caused more division and strife than Hair Farce One. He’s the most vile, deplorable piece of filth on the planet. I cannot believe average Americans think that a greedy, criminal, child-raping billionaire is someone to admire.
Or to elevate above their own family members.

Hayden Panettiere died yesterday. She was only 36 years old. Her passing has me fixated on death once again.
It’s really the only thing I worry about besides politics. My own. Mooch’s. My father’s, which may be sooner than we think. I also worry about the safety and well-being of my Bride and children.
I even worry about you guys. I hate the idea of losing any member of our Mouthy Militia. Death isn’t an easy topic for me to talk about.
But today, I felt the need to. And though I’m struggling with my mental health a bit, I realize that I have far more positive things to fixate on. I have a lot of blessings in my life. And I’m realizing how important it is to focus on the positives rather than one or two negatives I tend to worry about.
Perhaps you can relate. I appreciate you giving this one a listen. I never take for granted how lucky I am to have this many people who care about me and what I’m thinking about. Our Mouthy Militia is full of the best people.
Ones I’m thankful for. You guys tuning in and allowing me to express what I’m feeling means the world to me. I appreciate you all more than you know.

Today has been a good day. My mental health needed a win. Things have been better for the past couple of days.
It starts with connecting with cool people. It’s too easy for me to get wrapped up in 12-15 hour days railing against Traitor Trump and not interacting with the people who feel the same as I do. It’s not easy to maintain friendships or to make time for people who deserve it.
But yesterday and this morning helped a bunch. Chatting with some awesome new friends reminded me that it’s important to make time for personal connections.
I talk about this in today’s podcast episode. When you get a chance, check out my new friends’ social media pages. Angela Kerr, Holdin’ Holden, and Weird Paul Petroskey have some amazing talents that will entertain you. I’m glad for the connections with them.
And proud to call them friends. Same as you all. Our Mouthy Militia is full of the best people. Thank you for lending me your ears, as always. &:^)

Do you think vigilante justice is acceptable in America?
If killing another person saves other people’s lives, is it justifiable to break the law and murder someone? We’re all thinking about that these days, as the high-profile murder of a UnitedHealthcare CEO is front-page news. His killer, Luigi Mangione, has admitted to the crime.
It makes me wonder if we’ll see more people taking this extreme approach. And what other Americans think about it.
Luigi’s medical claim for a broken back was denied. He viewed what he did as being helpful in saving other people’s lives. Greedy CEOs often make horrible choices in their quest for the almighty dollar. Sometimes, extreme things happen because of their actions.
I talk about this in today’s podcast episode. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this topic. I appreciate you lending me your ears today. Thank you for your support!

It’s no fun being so competitive with yourself that it negatively affects your mental health.
Sadly, I can’t seem to stop doing it. I stress out constantly. Any time I go a day without gaining a paid subscriber, I worry. Growing up poor will do that to you. And I’m conservative about changing my strategies, even just a bit.
I’d much rather write about better, cooler shit than Traitor Trump. But I can’t bring myself to stop doing it. At least not entirely.
I realized this today after doing my Substack live with Walter and Eevie. And once I published a story by my good friend, Rusty Shackleford. I worried that, by not using today’s second article to rant and rave about Mango Mussolini, I was blowing an opportunity to gain new free or paid subscribers.
I have to figure out how to quit doing that. But it’s a struggle. I am much too competitive with myself. I don’t want stats or earnings to move backward. I’d hate to disappoint you all, but I also want to remain true to myself in my writing and podcasting.
I talk about this in today’s episode. Thank you so much for checking it out. It means the world to have the support of my Mouthy Militia. You’re all just the best.

Well, this was sure a lot of fun! Thank you all so much for tuning in for my chat with A. Eevie Bateman and Walter Rhein. We had a humorous, spirited chat about politics, life, parenting, and movies. Mooch even behaved to some degree, once she quit searching my pockets for treats!
We appreciate you tuning in. Thank you so much for your support of my writing, podcasting, and these Substack Lives. You’re valued and appreciated greatly!

Mooch says that because today’s article is about her, she’s going to give you all half-off discounts on paid subscriptions. So let’s do it! It’s only $2.49 a month or $24.99 yearly to support our independent journalism.
She scores peanut butter bones for each new paid subscriber that we get. I appreciate you considering it. We value and appreciate you all!
