  • Episode 44 - In conversation with Claire Clements

In this episode we were thrilled to welcome Claire Clements from Positive Pants.

Claire launched Positive Pants back in April 2018 after a lightbulb moment, thinking about how she could make the idea of a positive mindset more accessible to children of primary school age. Positive Pants is a well-known phrase to children and adults alike and is a tangible way to engage children with what could feel like a tricky concept. When you know how, having a positive mindset can be as easy as putting on your ‘Positive Pants’.

She provides 1-1 sessions with children at their home, and works closely with parents and carers to provide feedback and ideas to support children along their journey. Claire also offers parent sessions to provide wellbeing activities to help them support their own children and can offer group workshops in schools, in the home and also bring wellbeing into businesses to support teams.

We had a fantastic conversation with Claire, talking all about the Positive Pants business, what type of pants she prefers and all about the Positively Empowered Kids CIC she was Co-Founder of. Claire shares with us quite a lot of things about her own journey and how she has used that to help others, so this is well worth a listen and we believe there will be something that resonates for everyone.

  • Episode 43 - in conversation with Maddy Alexander-Grout

We had a fascinating chat with Maddy in this episode and got the first, exclusive scoop on her recent PR experience with some very negative national media coverage where she was labelled as a 'Sickfluencer' just because she helps people to claim Access To Work funding, which she rightly quashed and dealt with fabulously.

We also asked Maddy all about her role, having been named as one of the Disability Power 100 in 2024 and had a great time talking about the songs she would pick to represent her.

We finished by talking all about how we stay visible in business and there are some great nuggets in there for you all to take away.

Don't forget to connect with Maddy at the links below and check out her stanstore where you can find the links to pre-order her book 'Mad About Money' and download the 'Mad About Money' app, as well as finding lots of other fab resources.

Known for her authenticity and bold approach, Maddy has turned her personal challenges into a mission to help others be seen and heard. She is the founder of Mad About Money App, an inclusive platform providing practical financial advice for neurodivergent individuals, and the creator of Invisible to Influential, a brand that empowers entrepreneurs to share their stories and build impactful visibility.

Named one of the Disability Power 100 in 2024, Maddy is a multi-published author with her highly anticipated book, "Mad About Money", set to release in March. With a knack for storytelling and a passion for breaking down barriers, she inspires audiences to embrace their vulnerabilities and turn them into strengths.

When she’s not helping others gain confidence and visibility, Maddy is a mum of two, a music lover, and a fan of all things rainbow. Her journey from invisible to influential is a testament to the power of resilience and self-belief.

  • Episode 42 - Inclusion

In this episode we were due to be interviewing Maddy Alexander-Grout: Visibility Strategist, ADHD Coach and advocate for people with hidden disabilities.

However, live podcasts being what they are, Maddy was unavoidably detained so we themed today's show around 'inclusion'; in her honour, you might say.

We talk about what it feels to belong; times of feeling excluded; diversity of thought; why inclusion matters; top tips for feeling included; and creativity.

    Enjoy the ride!
