While we wait for this morning's inflation figure and hold our hearts over the oil price just below $100 per barrel I would like to quickly talk about all the other considerations surrounding tomorrow's repo rate decision. The basic story is that the repo rate is used to fight inflation, but economists also have other things on their minds.
