When people look back on your life, what will they say? The great news is you are still here and you still have time to define your legacy. This week we will take a look at the life of a woman who left a powerful legacy, how she did it and see how we can also leave a legacy we can be proud of.

You probably already know this, but we weren’t meant to go through life alone. Life has highs and lows. We need people to celebrate the highs with us and to help us navigate the lows. This week we will see what we can learn from how this looked for Onesimus.

All of us go through hard or challenging times. It is part of life. And when we have those tough seasons, we need people in our lives who love us and will encourage us to keep moving forward to be who God intended us to be. This week we will look again at Philemon’s life to see how he encouraged others, and what we can learn from it.

Do you ever find your days, weeks, years, or even your life as a whole isn’t going how you expected it to go? Maybe you are living in a different place than you planned. It’s not necessarily better or worse, just different. Maybe you thought you would be at a different place in your career or in your finances. Doesn’t mean you are at a bad place, just not what you expected. Maybe you are doing better than you ever imagined and are wondering what is next. This week we begin our series from the book of Philemon with a look at how God worked through a variety of people in a variety of situations.

As we celebrate Easter we see the extreme sadness that went with Jesus’ brutal crucifixion followed by the excitement of his resurrection on Easter morning. Let's look at how God desires to bring joy out of sadness and purpose out of pain.

Even in a challenging season that is the Coronavirus Pandemic, many of us are blessed with more than generations before us, which is great! There continues, however, to be poverty, pollution, trouble and negativity around us. Is it possible it’s not all about what we can get? Have we been blessed so we can bless others? Is success and reward when the getting turns to giving? We’ll talk about this as we examine Luke 10:25-37.

As people we often get hung up on our “rights.” It’s my right to dress how I want to dress, say what I want to say, believe what I want to believe, or do what I want to do. Is it really that simple? That’s what we are talking about this week.

Most of us are extremely blessed. We have clean drinking water and food to eat. Many of us have cars. Sure they may not be as nice as we want and they may not be our dream cars, but they get us from point a to point b (most of the time). We have a place to sleep and keep our things, a lot of people even own their homes. We are blessed, but are things what they appear to be? What story are we believing?

When you hear the words “Conservative” or “Conservation” what do you think of? Do you think of Republican versus Democrat? Do you think of going green, electric cars, global warming or saving the planet? The unfortunate reality is these words can become divisive and often polarizing. Is this God’s desire for his people? Does he want us to be divided and antagonistic towards each other?

Throughout this series titled, “BATTLESHIP: because good relationships are worth fighting for” we have talked about different types of friendships and about our relationship with God. This week we will be looking at Marriage. Not married or looking to get married? That’s ok. There will be something for you as well.
