Folks I’m not going to lie to you morale was quite low after another snoozer of a Holly Holm main event. So this week on unofficial rankings we tried to get some good juju cooking and instead of ranking boring things we opted to go for the most exciting things in sports. Nic’s been dominating the list rankings as of late let’s see if Matt can come up with some exciting shit to get himself a W amongst the people.

This might be a record for shortest FMB Radio Show episode yet, but when you’re coming off a Holly Holm vs Irene Aldana main event what do you want from us? This was one of the worst cards in a while so we quickly tell you why Holly Holm will be getting another title shot, talk about GDR’s newfound submission game and move the hell on.

Unofficial rankings episode 17 and the responses on the graphic should be great for this one. Look, it’s been a long week of crying in MMA. If it’s something to whine about, people are whining about it, more than usual. Which is saying a lot for MMA twitter because someone is always whining about something. So be it Paulo Costa about his rematch, Dana White about leaked DM’s, or the whole planet about Izzy’s cum celly this past Saturday we got ourselves a big ole bunch of crybabies.

So in honor of; we’ll be unofficially ranking the biggest crybabies in sports. So if you think you know someone… in any sport… *cough* Lebron *cough*… who is constantly whining about shit tune in to this episode and see if they cracked our top five. Though I think it’ll be hard to out whine this list because we got some serious criers here.

It’s debate night here at the FMB Radio Show, and by debate night I mean we are debating if this past Saturday was Paulo Costa’s worst performance ever or just of all time. Because Israel Adesanya made him look awful this weekend. Absolute clinic put on by the Stylebender. Plus Jan Blachowicz checks in with his magic hanging rope and Polish power to give us the feel good story of the weekend. Diego Sanchez checks in with one of the weaker bodies we’ve ever seen in MMA. A fair portion of the week has been spent not just discussing how much people despise Colby Covington, but how swift and ungraceful the downfall of Tyron Woodley has been. I mean, we are literally talking about a former champ who has lost 15 consecutive rounds of fighting dotted with a broken rib TKO loss to his arch nemesis. Not great.

So in the spirit we’ll be unofficially ranking our biggest career drop offs in sports. Doesn’t have to be confined to MMA as there are people messing things up all over the place. If you’ve got a tragic fall from grace that bookends your career, watch out, you just might find yourself on this list.

FMB Radio Radio show coming to you live fresh off the Colby Covington train steamrolling a very sad version of Tyron Woodley directly off the tracks. We had an excellent fight card especially considering it was free. So there was a lot to dive into. Toward the top the Colby Covington is getting wins so big he’s getting calls from the Donald himself. Which is actually preposterous. Tyron Woodley and Cowboy Cerrone have some serious soul searching to do if they are going to continue racking up points in the game of CTE. I’m still not sold on Chimaev, Matt may be though. Mackenzie Dern once again shows everyone why it’s the worst idea ever to go to the ground with Mackenzie Dern. Plus we had a fun fight from perennial Matt bet ruiner Darren Stewart.

Short news week with some riff raff around Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather fighting, Frank Mir signed with BKFC. But the big ticket item is Dana got himself a whale of a free agent in Michael Chandler so we get into what his future may hold in the UFC. All that and then some on the FMB Radio Show.

This week on unofficial rankings it’s a build the best snack spread. The caveat, it’s a game day snack spread. We know it’s mostly MMA in this neck of the woods but that doesn’t mean we don’t like us a little football… the real football not that no hands, ball-in-net stuff. So, this week it’s you gotta build a game day snack spread with a cookie, a cracker, a chip, a chocolate, and a candy.

Simple, yet difficult. Lots of considerations to be made. It’s two pretty strong spreads so let the best snacks win.

This week on unofficial rankings it’s a blast from the past as we are running down our top 5 90’s bands. Inspired by a bender of a holiday weekend we opted to take a trip down memory lane. If you’re one of these gen z mumble rap fanboys/girls then this one probably ain’t for you. But if you’re ready to talk Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Tony Hawk pro skater soundtracks you came to the right spot.

We continue to set land speed records here on the FMB Radio Show. “Real” sports being back combined with the fact that we’ve had nearly a month’s worth of soft cards has really put MMA on the back burner. Nonetheless, we are here as always, to bring you this week in MMA. Overeem continues his march towards what would be one of the more unlikely title shots I’ve seen in my day. Montana De La Rosa might not be the prospect this podcast had pegged her to be. And for the love of the ghost of Kimbo Slice can people please stop getting coronavirus and cancelling fights.
