She doesn't end up coming home in a pumpkin coach with mice for horses and glass slippers and a marriage proposal ... but is murdered.

On April 9, 1993, 19-year-old Monica Reece was thrown from a pickup truck onto Main Street, Georgetown, Guyana at 10:30 PM. 

Despite there being witnesses to this shocking act, this case is still one of the most haunting unsolved cases in Guyanese history. The brutal and senseless nature of Monica Reece’s death captured the nation’s attention and sparked countless theories, debates, and speculation over the years.
