Episode 26. This week we discuss the brand new Netflix cartoon, The Dragon Prince. It's a fantasy story revolving around a war between human and elves, but it has dragons, magic, and... glow toads. Plus it's being written by one of the head writers from Avatar the Last Airbender, so you know it has a good pedigree.

Episode 25. This week we discuss Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. season one! This is an updated version of our favorite mystery solving dog and his friends with a little more continuity that we are used to. Can Scooby and the gang figure out what happened to the original Mystery Incorporated?

Episode 24. This week we discuss Godzilla: Planets of the Monsters and Godzilla: City On The Edge of Battle. Both are Netflix Original anime movies with a futuristic, sci-fi take on the king of monsters. These are the first two movies in a trilogy, the third of which is due to be released late 2018. Does Netflix's version hold itself up against previous Godzilla stories? Come find out!

Episode 23. This week we discuss Disenchantment season one! Matt Groening, the creator of The Simpsons and Futurama is back at it again. Disenchantment season one is a ten episode animated series on Netflix. It follows a princess reluctant to fulfull her duties and trying to figure out her place in the world as she is accompanied by a small elf and a demon. Many adventures will be had.

Episode 22. This week we discuss a beautiful graphic novel called Iron: Or, The War After. It's an anthropomorphic spy-thriller set in a bleak world after a civil war with some fascinating characters. This books packs a hell of a lot in a small amount of space and does so excellently.

Episode 21. This week we discuss Bubble, a hilarious audio drama podcast that takes place in... you guessed it... a bubble. In which, the residents of Fairhaven live normal lives working jobs that has them fighting monsters from the Brush, the dangerous terrain outside of the Bubble.

Episode 20. This week we discuss The Infinite Loop, a sci-fi, time-travel adventure comic about a woman who falls in love with a person she is supposed to destroy. Will she do her job, or run away with the woman of her dreams?

Episode 19. This week we discuss Wet Hot American Summer. It's a comedy/spoof on teenage comedies from the 70s/80s and the memories of good old summer camp. It even stars some young up and coming actors like Bradley Cooper and Amy Poehler.

Episode 18. This week we discuss House of Five Leaves. It's an anime that follows a down-on-his-luck samurai that ends up taking a job as a bodyguard for a local criminal, but begins to question the morality of his decision. It's a slice of life show with a fascinating mystery that builds as it goes on.

Episode 17. This week we discuss All-Star Superman! And for almost two hours. Whoa. It's a graphic novel by Grant Morrison and Frank Quietly about what Superman would do if he found out he was dying. It's Morrison's love letter to Superman and filled with layers of metaphor and plenty of symbolism to unpack.
