Episode 32. This week we discuss a graphic novel from Image comics called Plutona. It follows a group of young kids who happen to find a dead body in the woods one day after school. Does that remind you of Stand By Me? Well, what if that dead body was of the worlds greatest superhero? Then what if it all just gets worse? That… is Plutona.

Episode 31. This week we discuss An American Werewolf in London. It's a horror comedy film both written and directed by John Landis of The Blues Brothers fame as well as many other hit movies. The film follow two friends as they are backpacking across the English countryside but get attacked by a werewolf along the way leaving one of them dead and the other doomed to become a werewolf in few weeks time. And goodness gracious the makeup and effects in this movie are amazing. If nothing else, watch this film just for that.

Episode 28. This week we discuss Venom: Lethal Protector, which was Venom’s first solo comic series. Venom moves to San Fransisco and tries to settle in only to get caught up in a plot that will kill a lot of people. It’s up to Venom to stop it! But Spider-Man still doesn’t trust Venom and decides to lend a hand and keep an eye on the situation.

Episode 27. This week we discuss volume one of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina! This is a horror comic about a teenage witch trying to balance the frightening reality of who and what she is with the desire to want to fit in and be normal. It's an awesome, and much more serious take on the Archie characters you might already know. Plus, it's getting it's own Netflix show this month, October 2018!

Episode 26. This week we discuss the brand new Netflix cartoon, The Dragon Prince. It's a fantasy story revolving around a war between human and elves, but it has dragons, magic, and... glow toads. Plus it's being written by one of the head writers from Avatar the Last Airbender, so you know it has a good pedigree.

Both are Netflix Original anime movies with a futuristic, sci-fi take on the king of monsters. These are the first two movies in a trilogy, the third of which is due to be released late 2018. Disenchantment season one is a ten episode animated series on Netflix. It follows a princess reluctant to fulfull her duties and trying to figure out her place in the world as she is accompanied by a small elf and a demon. Many adventures will be had.
