  • Amilcar Cabral has his Social Political thought permeated into Zimbabwe?
Today is Sunday the 31st of January 2021 today we talk on Amilcar Cabral and how his Social Political thought in relation to Zimbabwe permeates or lack thereof.
Born in 1924 in the territory of what is now Guinea-Bissau, Comrade Cabral
engaged in opposition movements that sought to bring down the Salazar dictatorship and kept up with the events that heralded the arrival of a postcolonial world, including the independence of India in 1947 and the Chinese Revolution in 1949. It was only in the 1950s that African political activities began playing a greater role in his life.
Cabral was assassinated in January 1973 under circumstances that have never been fully clarified, and he witnessed neither Guinea-Bissau’s declaration of independence nor the fall of the longest-standing European colonial empire, marked by the Portuguese Revolution on April 25, 1974.
A revolutionary to the bone; we at the Revolutionary Star today pay homage to him as we reflect on ourselves as Zimbabweans. **Audio states 2020 as produced however this is an error its 2021

Is it a Crime to Publish False Statement Undermining Public Confidence in a State Agency?
Earlier this year as well as throughout 2020 reports circulated on social media in regards to several false reports and fake news, many have been arrested for publishing or communicating false information
Is section 31(a)(iii) of the Criminal Law Code valid?
    This law reads as follows:
“Any person who, whether inside or outside Zimbabwe publishes or communicates to any other person a statement which is wholly or materially false with the intention or realising that there is a real risk or possibility of
undermining public confidence in a law enforcement agency, the Prisons and Correctional Service or the Defence Forces of Zimbabwe; shall, whether or not the publication or communication results in a consequence............
be guilty of publishing or communicating a false statement prejudicial to the State and liable to a fine up to or exceeding level fourteen [currently Z$120 000] or imprisonment for a period not exceeding twenty years or both.”
In October 2013, after the present Constitution came into force, the Supreme Court declared that section 31(a)(iii) did indeed contravene the former Constitution. Under section 24 of the former Constitution the Supreme Court was obliged to call on the Minister of Justice to show cause why it should not issue a final order declaring section 31(a)(iii) to be unconstitutional.
Therefore so whats the fuss about? Whats the real story?

The legal system of Zimbabwe is based on Roman Dutch law and at the top of the courtrooms is the Constitutional Court. The Constitutional Court is headed by a chief justice of the court. The Constitutional Court has the jurisdiction over alleged violations of fundamental rights guaranteed in the Constitution.
The Judicial Service Commission as a policy making body is supported by a Secretariat headed by the Secretary whose responsibility shall, subject to the Commission’s directions, supervise and manage the Commission’s staff, activities, funds and property and perform such other functions on behalf of the Commission as the Commission may assign to him or her. The Secretary is ably supported by two Deputy Secretaries.

  • Pfumvudza is this political hype or the real deal? What the fuss about Dawg?
    Pfumvudza: Episode 15
Welcome Welcome to the fifteenth episode of The Revolutionary Star…………. broadcasting live and direct from Harare Zimbabwe to the comfort of wherever you are right now in our global world.
Today is Sunday the 1st of November 2020 today we talk on pfumvudza and its consequences is this politics or food security productivity at its best?
“The Pfumvudza concept is climate smart in that it mitigates against drought because the plot size to feed a family for a year is so small that it can be water planted on time and can also be watered by hand with a bucket in times of weather stress.
At its peak just before 2000, it was contributing just above 30% of the gross domestic product and directly employing over half a million people.
Zimbabwe was a net exporter of grain, tobacco, beef, sugar, vegetables and flowers, among other products.
    We discuss this and more:

  • Zimbabwe Sanctions: How they affect every citizen. Dont believe the hype!
Welcome Welcome to the fourteenth episode of The Revolutionary Star…………. broadcasting live and direct from Harare Zimbabwe to the comfort of wherever you are right now in our global world.
Today is Sunday the 25th of October 2020
We are back after a few months of soul searching and figuring out our editorial thrust for our upcoming launch for the official Revolutionary Star News Media
That being said we start off this podcast tackling the issue of sanctions.
The widespread use of economic sanctions constitutes one of the most messed up aspects of contemporary American foreign policy by foreign powers.
Sanctions are frequently criticized, even derided. At the same time, economic sanctions are fast becoming the policy tool of choice for the United States when it comes to furthering their personal interest.
    What are Sanctions?
Well for this podcast they wil be defined as mostly economic but also political and military penalties introduced to alter political and/or military behavior— and are employed by the United States to discourage the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles, bolster human rights, end terrorism, thwart drug trafficking, discourage armed aggression, promote market access, protect the environment, and replace governments. This definition is the utopian version

Whats going on in Zimbabwe: Episode 13
Welcome Welcome to the Thirteenth episode of The Revolutionary Star…………. broadcasting live and direct from Harare Zimbabwe to the comfort of wherever you are right now in our global world.

Today is Tuesday the 30th of June 2020 and officially here in Zimbabwe we have now come to the end of our 93rd day of our Zimbabwean Indefinite Lockdown
So Lockdown Day 93 June 30th wassup wassup well to put it simply
DESPERATE TIMES, DESPERATE MEASURES we are still in a death spiral that we mentioned before:
We have a forex auction in place,........ today at the end of trading the rate is now at 1:63
On Saturday we had a re-issue of a March Statutory Instrument on mobile banking. This was said to have been deliberately designed to muddy the waters because it did not encompass Friday’s announcement, not mentioning the closure of mobile platforms or, for that matter, the ZSE.
Last week, the Government announced the suspension of phone-based mobile money transactions and trading on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) so as to allow for investigations into illegal dealings connected with the foreign currency black market and also to put in place reforms that restore mobile money platforms to their original purpose.

  • Humanity Social Contract and Racism the problems we face
What Can Zanu Pf Learn from Trump, FOX, Republicans; and the Democrats?
When keeping it Authoritarianism goes wrong:

this week we want to delve into the United States of America and how much their fuck ups shape us:

" Black Consciousness is in essence the realization by the Black man of the need to rally together with his brothers around the cause of their oppression - the blackness of their skin and to operate as a group in order to rid themselves of the shackles that bind them to perpetual servitude.
It seeks to demonstrate the lie that black is an aberration from the normal which is white. It is a manifestation of a new realization that by seeking to run away from themselves and to emulate the white man, blacks are insulting the intelligence of whoever created them black.
Black consciousness therefore takes cognizance of the deliberateness of God's plan in creating black people black. It seeks to infuse the black community with a new-found pride in themselves, their efforts, their value systems, their culture, their religion and their outlook to life" (Steve Biko)
Subordinates need superiors in order to have access to the means of life; superiors need subordinates to work for them and also to give them the recognition they crave.
In such a structure there is a clear incentive for people to misrepresent their true beliefs and desires in order to attain their ends.
What Does this mean for Black Africans and Zimbabweans?
