The Revolutionary Star Is committed to ensuring a non-biased journalistic reporting which will be based on our ideological outlook imbued in the Revolutionary discourse that shaped Zimbabwe at its birth in 1980. We are Africans first and should perceive our environment from a Zmbabwean African Perspective
As a media news and social platform for all Southern African discourse our content will touch on various topics such as all current affairs affecting Southern Africa, Southern African Nations are seen as Brothers in Arms.......so; in that vein...... what affects Zimbabwe usually will also affect you. Some of our own ideological tenets are drawn from various organisations such as PAIGC led by the late Cde Amilcar Cabral may he Rest in Peace, MPLA, SWAPO, FRELIMO, EFF, ANC, UNIP, TANU, South African Communist Party and PAC just to name a few.
Our Contemporary content shall pertain to varying issues such as climate change (environment and health); Renewable energy; Water Security; Community Business; Revolutionary Initiatives; Topical Issues; Corruption; the ills of Patronage, Women and Communities; Youth and Development and Local Ward related issues across Southern Africa.
As much as being a Revolutionary voice, our ideological appreciation is based on the Southern African Nationalistic Movement that helped birth the Armed Struggle for not only Zimbabwe's independence but that of many other African Nations. This is a big tent encompassing many hidden Zimbabwean Histories we wish to highlight and publish. Trade Union organisations, Zimbabwe-Indian Community Activists, local coloured community leaders, churches and white society are just a few examples of stories we wish to celebrate and commemorate.
Our views will be unvarnished and not watered down for consumption. Expect blunt and raw perspectives as well as analysis that you may not agree with, with this we hope to open a genuine discourse on whether or not we as a people are really still within a revolution or not
Thank you for your attention and enjoy.
