Episode 100 of Ready Set Revue is no longer Ready Set Revue. Just like the inevitable reboot of the DCEU…just like when the Power Rangers get a new set of Zords…just like when heroes get a costume change…Ready Set Revue is now Flickin’ It: with Matt and Will. The ONLY movie podcast. Excuse the fact that our new logo was not ready by episode 100.

We just left the theater with our podcast brother, Ed from Canon Fodder, and we saw The Flash tonight. Our expectations were low…but holy fuck. I can’t believe this movie took seven years to come to fruition. From the inexcusable CGI, to Miller’s horrific acting, to piss poor directing, this movie has all the trappings of what has made DCEU movies fail time and again. There are some bright spots, such as Michael Keaton’s return to the cowl and a surprisingly well written script and story. But they are not enough to save this dumpster fire movie. This one should be banished to the Speed Force.

On episode 124 of Talking Tacos the boys welcome Cast Iron Kyle. The boys will be partnering with Kyle later this summer to judge the first annual Philly Hot Sauce Fest, and we got a sample of that this week with a special selection of sauces supplied by Kyle. It’s all hot sauce this week, faithful listeners.

Your favorite comic book lovers are back with episode 2 of Matt and Mike Read Comics! This episode is all about the former Boy Wonder himself, Nightwing; specifically Nightwing by Peter J. Tomasi. What a weird and wild tale that Nightwing has gotten himself into with this run. Featuring outstanding art by the likes of Doug Mahnke and Rags Morales, this is a great book. We cover this and much more on our second episode.

On episode 123 of Talking Tacos, the boys remember Harambe. It was the anniversary of the catastrophic event that catapulted us into the worst timeline. Here we are. We get tiny beers, talk about the “high school track pooper”, AI taking over the world, and much more. Matt went to the Block. We try a sauce from Pepper Crusaders; the El Cid.
