  • Ready Set Revue Episode 99: Power Rangers Once And Always
Episode 99 of Ready Set Revue is all about Power Rangers. Last month the 30th anniversary special, Mighty Morhin Power Rangers: Once and Always, was released on Netflix. And our little nostalgic nerd hearts grew three sizes that day. From the opening scene of the six OG rangers running into battle against gratuitous explosions all the way to Billy fucking stabbing Robo-Rita through the chest with his power lance; this special had it all. And was still somehow decidedly low budget. Will and Matt take a stroll down memory lane through the last 30 years of Power Rangers shows and tie it all together. It’s Morphin’ Time!

  • Talking Tacos Episode 119: The Boys Eat Tamales
Sorry we're a week late here! On episode 119 of Talking Tacos the boys eat tamales. Well, not really. Ok, Matt has a tamale. The boys unveil their newest swag, Talking Tamales featuring King Tamale, Matt. We try our first sauce from the Heatonist batch, and it’s a 3 on their scale. Pornhub pulls out of Utah. Former TNA jobber, Rhaka Khan, sues EVERYONE over some bonkers conspiracy theory. And so much more. Grab your tequilas and slide up a chair.

  • Ready Set Revue Episode 98: Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3
Episode 98 of Ready Set Revue is the close of one of the best trilogies of Marvel movies, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Will and Matt saw this opening night. Ironically on Star Wars day, to a packed theater. The movie was absolutely fantastic and absolutely tense and impactful. After a round of applause when the credits started to roll, the theater was silent as we all processed what we just saw. It was wonderful. Giving us elements of the story that we didn’t even know that we wanted or needed, GoTG 3 absolutely knocks it out of the galaxy. If you don’t want spoilers, don’t listen.

  • Ready Set Revue Episode 97: Renfield And Jury Duty
On episode 97 of Ready Set Revue, Will and Matt talk about Renfield and Jury Duty. Renfield is a movie starring the two Nicholas’, Nicholas Cage and Nicholas Hoult (the “two Nicholas’ are not a thing - we made that up). Nic Cage plays Dracula and that is about as ridiculous as you’d expect. Nic Hoult plays his familiar. The movie is absurd and surprisingly deep. We also talk about an unexpected pleasure of a reality TV show, Jury Duty. It’s a show where everyone is an actor EXCEPT one guy who thinks he’s actually serving on a trial. It’s nuts and Will takes us through his reality TV encyclopedia (his brain) to tell us how this show came to be.

  • Talking Tacos Episode 118: The Boys Are Hangry
On episode 118 of Talking Tacos the boys get hangry. We always come in hot on Tuesdays and today was no exception. But this time, these corporate clowns were holding us up. You’ll have to listen to understand. Matt recounts his experience on the Asbury Park food tour, we try a $20 hot sauce, discuss the best burgers we’ve ever had, and talk with a shady fuck named Cooper on the street. We also give Bill compliments for his future dating profile. It’s a Tuesday baby!!

  • Talking Tacos Episode 117: The Boys go to Tapatia
On episode 117 of Talking Tacos the boys go to Tapatia. Our usual haunt at Loteria was closed for renovations, or something, so we naturally went back to where it all began. This week we talk about the Florida state prison that small-dick Ron Desantis is trying to build to piss off Disney, Bill’s MULTIPLE trips to the View, Doctor Dave’s storytelling abilities, and much more. We get extra tequila from Tapatia and a hot sauce from the St. Thomas batch. Hot Buns on the Beach. It wasn’t bad.

  • Ready Set Revue Episode 96: Dungeons And Dragons
Episode 96 of Ready Set Revue is here. Will and Matt went to go see Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, so as not to be confused with that weird one with Jeremy Irons and Marlon Wayans. Woof. This movie was surprisingly great. Yes, great. Instead of just building a generic fantasy world that could have been from any product, we got a movie that was all of that, but took all of the right elements from the game. With an all-star cast, great action, good comedy, and a surprising amount of heart, this movie was a real winner.

  • Talking Tacos Episode 116: The Boys Go To Taliercio's
On episode 116 of Talking Tacos the boys go to Taliercio’s. Well, just Doctor Dave and Matt went. The subs were expensive, tasty, and largely overrated. Not a bad sandwich by a long shot, but there are better sandwiches in Monmouth County alone. Certainly not worth the “best of NJ” vote. We also try another sauce from our Pepper Crusaders’ batch, the Enoch. It was pretty good. We also invent our own Seinfeld bit, talk to random strangers on the street, and discuss Bon Jovi’s son’s engagement to Eleven.

  • Talking Tacos Episode 115: The Boys Make a Sandwich
On episode 115 of Talking Tacos the boys make a sandwich. Or rather, Matt explains to Chris and Bill the proper way to make and eat a sandwich. Matt may leave tacos behind on a Tuesday, but never a good sandwich. We give our first ever redemption hot sauce review on this week’s One Chip Challenge ™, bringin back the General’s hot sauce. Faithful listeners may remember our last bottle of the General’s which smelled and tasted like cat food. Certain that we had an inferior batch, we picked up a fresh bottle and tried it again. It’s still not great, but it’s far beyond the last one. Also discussed this week, Chat GPT as CEO, Bill in the fantasy football league, and MotW ™ finally returns thanks to Trump’s indictment.

  • Ready Set Revue Episode 95: Knock At The Cabin
Episode 95 of Ready Set Revue is here with Knock at the Cabin; the latest offering from eternal narcissist, M. Knight Shyamalan. Watching movies from this guy is like coming back to an ex-lover over and over. You know it’s a bad idea. You know you’re going to be hurt and disappointed. But you keep doing it anyway. Aside from Bautista’s surprisingly glowing performance in one of the lead roles, the rest of the movie is mid at best. Will and Matt count at least four different ways the movie could have ended that would have been better than what we got. We also break down some new trailers and talk hype for movies like Guardians 3, Across the Spidervserse, Blue Beetle, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
