Ready Set Revue episode 89 talks about a pair of weird yet excellent movies, M3gan and The Menu. One movie is thriller/horror that borders on comedy in M3gan; a movie about an AI doll that goes to great lengths to protect its primary user. We’re obviously talking about murder, but there’s some surprising depth to the characters in this movie as well as interesting social commentary. Then there’s The Menu. On the exact opposite end of the character development spectrum, it tells a wholly unique story about a chef who has basically become a cult leader and his unique dining experience where…spoiler alert…you’ll have to listen to the episode.

On episode 104 of Talking Tacos, the boys finish a second bottle of hot sauce. It’s been months, but we finally came across a bottle worthy of finishing in one night. Whitehouse Station Applewood Smoked Poblano. Poof. Done. This week we discuss the sexy M&M controversy, bad teachers (not Chris), Mike from Stranger Things snapping MotW ™ , Kylie Jenner’s lion head, and the future of Langosta Lounge and Asbury Park Yacht Club. On episode 103 of Talking Tacos, the boys get into a beer war. Bill and Chris chug each other’s beers in a war that will likely last for the next 100 episodes because Bill and Chris are two of the most stubborn people on the planet. Doctor Dave even got in on the action for a beer or two. We revue our first hot sauce from our Tongue Burners batch, Tapa Who, and it was delicious. Drake makes us uncomfortable. Kung Fu Joe updates us on NJ gun laws. Meme of the Week ™ is the cop in Tennessee who fucked basically the entire police force. This beer war will go on for a very long time.

On episode 102 of Talking Tacos, the boys welcome a new champ. Our very own Doctor Dave has won the 2022 season of our fantasy football league in what was a poetic battle. He appropriately wore the championship belt all night long. The boys also discuss the apparent changing of regulations of the dipshit laws that hurt and demonize breweries in the state of NJ. It’s a step in the right direction, but also fuck the government. Your laws are stupid and hurt small businesses. Chris is a diabolical genius. Andrew Tate remains in prison, thankfully. We revue a hot sauce that Matt and our Director of Hot Sauce Acquisition made together. Drink up!
