Episode 97 of Talking Tacos was a weird one! With the establishment formerly known as the Green Room closed on Tuesdays in the winter, we’ve been establishing ourselves at a new Green Room in Barrio Costero, but that place was PACKED this week. So we tried Reyla. Closed. Then we tried Black Swan. Open, but with so-so cocktails. On the plus side, there was bingo. The boys were WAY out of it this week so bear with us. Kirstie Alley died. The Liver King is a fraud. AI art memes are dumb. And a cum-looking hot sauce that was weak on both flavor and heat. Here we go!

Canon Fodder is back with a continuation of one of our very first episodes, part three of our View Askewniverse revue is here with Clerks 3! And on this episode we are joined by a very special guest; Doctor Dave of Talking Tacos. If you have not seen Clerks 3 yet, JFC. This movie is HEAVY. It’s excellent, but it’s heavy. Kevin Smith hasn’t made a movie this intense since Chasing Amy, However, it has all of the elements that you’d expect from a Clerks movie and Kevin Smith in general. A true gem. And this episode comes with a special edition piece of art from @that_whiteboard. And by “comes with” we mean go check out the page and follow and like EVERYTHING.

On episode 96 of Talking Tacos, the boys commence Operation Whirlwind. In the hours preceding the recording of this episode, Doctor Dave unleashed the operation on the enemy of the podcast. You’ll have to listen for all of the wonderful details that we’ve been hinting at for the last few weeks. Plus! We have our first one chip revue from the batch of Whitehouse Station hot sauces; the cranberry reaper. It was a good one, despite being low on the heat index. We lambast an inconsiderate table in the restaurant, Kung Fu Joe tells Matt’s hot tub story, and we explain why soccer is not a real sport. Extra tequila was drunk during the recording of this podcast…but none of the boys were hurt.

On episode 95 of Talking Tacos the boys get Taylor Swift tickets. Not really. We would never spend a single penny to see Taylor fucking Swift, but we obviously talk about it and laugh at the plight of people that had to suffer at the hands of Ticketmaster. A heated debate about how shitty Ticketmaster is ensues. Plus, Mom I’d Like to Podcast With ™, our first one chip revue from Peri Peri in London, Philadelphia man eats 40 rotisserie chickens, firing people, and of course remembering Jason David Frank; the Green Ranger.

On episode 94 of Talking Tacos the boys are without a home. We are rebelling against the ownership of our green room, our spot, our watering hole, our home; Asbury Park Distilling. To be clear, we dearly love the staff, our family, who made that place what it is today. It’s the owners we’re taking an issue with. We go into all of the drama on this episode, remember the great Kevin Conroy (the mother fucking Batman), discuss eating weird foods, gimmick foods, and wedding shenanigans. Weddings are stupid.

That’s pretty much all we have to say. You know we saw Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on opening night and you know you’re in for a wild ride. This movie fucks. It is absolutely packed with deep character development, dark storylines and themes, brilliantly choreographed and shot fight scenes, elegant costumes and set pieces, and a healthy dose of world-building. If you haven’t seen the movie, go see it because Will and Matt spoil every possible surprise in this episode.

But don't worry, we only talk about dumb fuck voting for like 5 minutes. It's a PSA, really. Special guest Pat Myles joins us and we have a VERY fun time this week. A surprising amount of movie talk and just a fun ass Tuesday. Come join us!

Episode 82 of Ready Set Revue is one that we’ve been wanting to do for a while, our revue on Jordan Peele’s movies. We are specifically talking about his directorial outings, Get Out, Us, and Nope. We ignore CandyMan for purposes of this episode because he didn’t direct that one nor is it an original property. Will and Matt are pretty torn on Peele’s body of work and get into all of the reasons why there is so much to love here, but so much to dislike. Tell us what you think!

Episode 26 of Canon Fodder is here and it’s our annual Halloween special. This year we’re doing the Friday the 13th universe, or the Jason Voorhees universe to some. These movies are actually pretty fucking terrible, and after the first 5 movies they just completely disregard all forms of continuity, which means that there is a LOT of good fodder for us to discuss.
