On episode 165 of Talking Tacos the boys return to Loteria! It’s been a long winter, but it was nice to be back at the big table with our flag and to see all of our old friends. This week we talk about how LA sucks, that the Monmouth County food scene rivals anyplace in the country, a dipshit judge ruling that tacos are sandwiches over a ZONING law, and we explain in great detail how 9/11 led to the downfall of Ellen Degeneres. It’s a wild ride so strap in!

On episode 164 of Talking Tacos the boys cause an international incident. It’s Scotland’s revenge as Singularity Hot Sauce comes back at us with the extra strength version of their buffalo sauce. It was a banger. We also try a couple of other new sauces from local vendors Is It Spicy and Happy Tears. We pitch a Talking Tacos reality TV show, talk about the failed Dublin-to-NYC portal, and some pharma conspiracy theories. We’re back at Tic Taco Taqueria this week and also get joined by owner, Xavier. It’s a good week for the boys!

Batman: Knightfall on episode 16 of Matt and Mike Read Comics. The classic story where Batman finally lost and the introduction of the truly terrifying villain known as Bane. Batman’s rogues gallery is hard to compare to, but rarely had there been a villain like Bane. Others had come close to beating Batman, but never truly succeeded. Bane’s desire to both know and beat his enemy was a new approach to villainy in the Batman world. Following Batman’s defeat, Jean Paul Valley takes up the mantle in the most 90’s way possible. We cover it all on this episode of Matt and Mike Read Comics.

On episode 163 of Talking Tacos the boys are joined by Will from Twin Lights Brewing. We took a trip to Tic Taqueria with a cooler full of the new collaboration beer between Twin Lights and the Revue Podcast Network, Calaveras. It’s absolutely delicious and goes well with all of the banger food at Tic Taqueria. No conspiracy theories this week, but Kim Kardashian got booed at the roast of Tom Brady. Good. Fuck her. We also lament the end of true live televised events. That and much more! Come take a seat at the table.

Flickin It with Matt and Will is back with episode 118. We went to see Civil War in theaters and…holy shit. It was so bad. But not for the reasons you may think. IF you haven’t seen it, we spoil it here so don’t listen unless you’ve seen it or simply don’t care. We also cover the live action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Not to be confused with that steaming pile of shit from James Cameron that’s also called Avatar.

On episode 162 of Talking Tacos the boys kick it with the King Sauce boys. Yes, there is in fact another set of boys. Matt and Carlo bond over being better in every imaginable way than Chris. We talked about meatballs, cheesesteaks, burgers, and of course, King Sauce. It’s a wild Tuesday and we had a blast.

Flickin It with Matt and Will episode 117 is here! We cry as we get past the midway point of the debut season of X-Men 97. Have you ever wanted to see a grown man cry? You know exactly which scenes we’re talking about. We’re still crying and probably will be until (if?) they fix it with standard X-Men time travel business. THE NAME’S GAMBIT. REMEMBER IT. But god damn. They got us good.

Also, it’s Spider Mondays! We’re graced with the re-release of every live action Spider-Man movie, once per week, in theaters for the next several weeks. Matt will be going to all of them, obviously, and Will joined him for the classic Spider-Man 2. It still holds all the way up.

Episode 116 of Flickin It with Matt and Will is out! We discuss Dune: Part 2 (is it as good as everyone is making it out to be?) and Poor Things. Who knew that Poor Things was like 40% softcore porn? Who knew that Dune: Part 2 would make only kinda sense? Let’s get into all of the weird shit.

Episode 15 of Matt and Mike Read Comics goes into one of the most legendary stories in all of comics lore - the Dark Phoenix saga as featured in Uncanny X-Men. Most people in Matt’s generation will remember first seeing this story played out in the original 90’s animated show on Fox Kids, but the original story was published in comics easily 15 years earlier. It was the first time in comics where a hero of Jean Grey’s stature and tenure was truly and entirely killed. It was a landmark moment in comics that set the stage for years to come.

Episode 39 of Canon Fodder continues our Super-Spy series with the Bourne franchise. With arguably the most recognizable action sequences of the last 20 years, a tight story, and superb performances from its cast, the Bourne series is easily one of the best spy and action franchises of all time. It’s not, however, without its issues or missteps as we discuss in great detail on this latest episode. But for real…how good are these fight scenes?
