  • Flickin It Episode 112: Saltburn and Beekeeper
On episode 112 of Flickin’ It with Matt and Will we talk about Saltburn and the Beekeeper. One is pulse-pounding actioner and one is…a movie. Saltburn is just trying too hard, like the director and cinematographer had something to prove. It’s very well-acted and beautifully shot, but the story simply makes no sense. Beekeeper, on the other hand, is a straightforward story, with an interesting twist, and top notch action. It’s the kind of movie that reminds you how good an original movie can be.

  • Talking Tacos Episode 156: The Boys Grow
On episode 156 of Talking Tacos the boys grow. Metaphorically that is. We’ve been hard at work cultivating new relationships with taco-adjacent friends and it’s really been paying off in every way you can imagine. You want to be part of the fun with the boys, DM us. But let’s not forget that it’s also Tuesday and sometimes, things happen on Tuesday. This Tuesday, Bill got end-of-podcast drunk before the podcast even began. These things will happen. Bill and Chris swear to take their feud to the grave. Also in this episode, humanity is stupid and doomed for donating money to one of the idiot Jenner’s to try and get them billionaire status, Bradley Beach sergeant tries to arrest his own chief for drunk driving (dickheads), we try a new sauce from Spice Shark, and much more!

  • Flickin It with Matt and Will Episode 111: Madame Web
Matt and Will went to see Madame Web on Valentine’s Day and everything you’re hearing is true. It’s bad. BAD bad. There are little to no redeeming qualities about this movie. We had previously said that The Flash was the worst superhero movie of all time, but this may be worse. It’s Flash, Morbius, Batman vs Superman, and now Madame Web as the Mount Rushmore of shitty superhero movies. It’s hard to fathom that so many people at Sony could, theoretically, view this movie throughout its production life cycle, witness the final product, and go “yup, this is a winner”. It’s barely watchable and it’s a shame because the costumes of the three Spider girls were stunningly beautiful - for the 2 minutes they were on screen, and no that’s not an exaggeration - and those actresses did well with the shit they were given. Dakota Johnson, however, did not do well. We’re not even sure if she attempted to act here. It’s a train wreck that you just have to see for yourself.

  • Talking Tacos Episode 154: The Boys Talk Country Music and Carl Weathers
On episode 154 of Talking Tacos the boys talk country music. RIP to the legend Carl Weathers. RIP to someone who we really don’t care about, Toby Keith. And RIP to the great Wayne Cramer of the MC5. Celebrity deaths come in threes. We couldn’t help ourselves to talk about fucking Taylor Swift AGAIN. What’s she up to now? Threatening to sue someone. AGAIN. There’s this college kid that tracks the comings and goings of celebrity’s personal jets. He’s run afoul of Elon Musk before and now he’s drawn the ire of Taylor Swift. Spoiler alert. He’s not an ex-boyfriend. Instead she’s threatening to sue him. Sound familiar? Taylor Swift? More like Taylor Sues. Shut the fuck up and get over it. This week’s one chip challenge was a sauce provided to us by Sticker Mule. You heard that right. It’s called Mule Sauce.

  • Talking Tacos Episode 153: The Boys Are a Psyop
On episode 153 of Talking Tacos the boys talk psyops and the AMAZINGLY INSANE conspiracy theory that America’s sweetheart, Taylor Swift, is in fact a CIA plant. If you’ve ever listened to an episode of Talking Tacos, you know that the boys live for this insane shit. But in other Taylor Swift news, she’s threatening to sue over some obviously fake AI-generated images of her doing, umm, sex stuff. You decide exactly what that means or google the images for yourself. They’re honestly hilarious. We also review our first in our Maletta’s hot sauce batch for our weekly #onechipchallenge.

  • Canon Fodder Episode 37: Mission Impossible Part 1
Episode 37 of Canon Fodder continues our Super Spy series of episodes. Ed, Matt, and Pat sit down to discuss the Mission Impossible franchise. A surprise hit when it first aired in 1996, the Mission Impossible movie was based off a TV series of the same name and featured Tom Cruise, in what would become a defining role, Jon Voight, Ving Rames, and Jean Reno. The entire franchise consists of 7 (soon to be 8) movies and has redefined what a spy/action movie could be. Enjoy part 1 of our 2-part Mission Impossible series as we continue to break down our fictional super spies.

  • Matt and Mike Read Comics Episode 12: Starman Part 1
Matt and Mike are back after the holiday break and we are still reading comics! On episode 12 we start our multi-part breakdown of the legendary 90’s run of Starman, by James Robinson and Tony Harris. Collecting almost 100 issues and reinventing the character for a new generation, Robinson crafts the story of a reluctant hero who has superheroing in his blood. Jack Knight’s father, Ted Knight, was the first Starman decades ago, a member of the Justice Society with such legends as Jat Garrick, the first Flash, and Alan Scott, the first Green Lantern. Listen to us unpack the story of Jack Knight and his cast of supporting characters, such as the amoral Shade, the villainous Mist, and the crazy O’Dare family of cops.
