Episode 109 of Flickin’ It, with Matt and Will covers a bunch! Loki season 2, Gen V season 1, and The Creator. Where to begin! You’ll have to listen for the whole report, but here are the basics. The Creator is a massive letdown. One of the most beautifully shot movies either of us have ever seen, cut down by tepid acting and a storyline that jumps the biggest shark in the last decade. Loki season 2 was confusing as fuck, but ultimately very good and a wonderful setup for the future. It was also a heartwarming and extremely satisfying close to Loki’s story (for now). Gen V fucks. I t fucks so hard. We can’t wait for the Boys now.

On episode 150 of Talking Tacos the boys get licenses for their pets. NOT. Because fuck the government and their stupid frivolous rules that are nothing more than cash grabs. Speaking of cash grabs, a Florida woman brings a class action lawsuit against Reese’s claiming that their marketing photos are misleading and she wouldn’t have bought their products otherwise. The Fuck? Cops are stupid. Traveling for concerts. Campbelltown. We’re back at Plaza Tapatia for a delicious dinner. Their rice and beans are fire. On episode 149 of Talking Tacos the boys go on Christmas vacation. It’s a surprisingly wholesome episode as we all tell stories about what we do with our families for Christmas. AMC does this cool thing now where you can go see a movie, but not know what the movie is until it starts in theaters. It’s a pretty cool bit, so enjoy this fun new episode!

She’s an unstoppable force and while the boys don’t have any issue with Taylor herself, her fanbase is absolutely insufferable. Militant. Cult-like. Campbell doesn’t like the way she tips for her Rita’s Italian Ice, though. We talk foreign cuisine and eating McDonald’s in a foreign country. On episode 11 of Matt and Mike Read Comics, Matt and Mike read I Am Legend…the comic! Yes, the legendary and timeless novel from Richard Matheson got a comic book adaptation in the 80’s and it’s a sight to behold. Truly a graphic novel, Steven Niles and Elman Brown adapt the story with gripping words and beautiful art. The art, specifically, is very unique as it is only pencils and ink. With very little dialogue - mostly because the main character, Robert Neville spends the bulk of the story by himself - the story is truly told with words and accompanying pictures. Very unique in the world of comics and a truly special read. Much better than the shitty Will Smith movie.
