Introducing Episode 04: Maximizing Tax Savings Through Strategic Entity Structuring from Sterling Insights.

    Follow the show: Sterling Insights

Welcome to Episode 004 of Sterling Insights:  Sterling Insights: Stand Out & Supercharge Your Assets, hosted by Roger Silk.  In this episode, Roger sits down with Gary Heldt and discusses tax savings.

Gary D. Heldt, Jr., CPA is the owner of Small Business Advisors in Gambrills, Maryland, serving clients in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. He has more than 30 years of experience providing business owners and individual clients with a wide range of accounting and consulting services. Prior to opening his own firm, Gary worked in accounting at several companies and non-profit organizations.

While Gary earned the designation of Premier Tax Coach in Anne Arundel County, tax preparation is just a small part of what he does. He says if you only prepare taxes, you’re just recording a client’s history. Gary believes in helping his clients write their tax future, by making their business stronger and advancing themselves financially.

He wants his clients to think of him as their business partner. He’s their trusted advisor, CFO, and much more.  Gary is also the host of Grow Your Business & Grow Your Wealth podcast.

Here’s what to expect on this week’s show:

    ·      Gary stresses the importance of choosing the right entity structure for businesses. By analyzing factors such as profitability and specific business needs, clients can unlock various tax benefits that might not be accessible under a different entity structure.

    ·      Gary explains the distinction between accrual and cash accounting, and why this is an important aspect of tax planning.

    ·      Gary's proactive approach to tax planning involves ongoing client education through webinars and regular tax tips.
