3:05pm- On Wednesday, President Joe Biden appeared to be using a “cheat sheet” while speaking with the press. The sheet appeared to list pre-approved questions from specific reporters—along with written responses President Biden could use.
3:15pm- While speaking with a group of children on Thursday, President Joe Biden was asked to name his favorite movie but couldn’t remember the name—it was Top Gun: Maverick.
3:30pm- Listeners call-in with their favorite Joe Biden movie descriptions: “you know that movie in space with stars and all the wars. You know the one!” Star Wars?
3:45pm- On Wednesday, American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten testified during a House Oversight and Accountability Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis. During the hearing, Weingarten claimed she was unable to recall when she first began consulting with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on remote learning measures because she is in her 60’s and, consequently, her memory isn’t particularly strong. Weingarten also told Congress that she never suggested revisions to CDC guidelines, she merely presented the CDC with “ideas.”
4:05pm- Jeffrey Tucker—Founder & President of the Brownstone Institute—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his latest editorial, “Top Ten Quotes from the NYT Fauci Interview.” Tucker writes, “[b]illed as the most in-depth interview yet, the New York Times published a very long piece that contains some rather startling admissions, claims, and defenses from Anthony Fauci, the face of lockdowns and shot mandates” including Dr. Fauci’s claim that he was not responsible for shutting down a single factory or school nationally. 4:30pm- During her Thursday press conference, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre struggled to explain how the administration decides which reporters and news outlets President Joe Biden will call on during press events.
4:40pm- On Wednesday night, Tucker Carlson posted a video to Twitter addressing his Fox News firing for the first time—hinting that he will be returning soon, though he did not specifically mention in what capacity or where he would be seen/heard.
4:50pm- According to a report from Gordon Lubold of The Wall Street journal, “[n]early two years ago, an errant spark inside a mill caused an explosion so big it destroyed all the building’s equipment…It also shut down the sole domestic source of an explosive the Department of Defense relies on to produce bullets, mortar shells, artillery rounds and Tomahawk missiles. The ramshackle facility makes the original form of gunpowder, known today as black powder, a highly combustible material with hundreds of military applications. 5:05pm- The Drive at 5: During Thursday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing on Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) Reform, Inspector General Michael Horowitz seemingly conceded that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has conducted more than 3 million warrantless searches of communications involving American citizens. Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) alleged that the FBI has been conducting, on average, 559 searches per day—Biggs concluded, “that means, in my opinion, they have broken the rules 559 times per day.”
5:20pm- On Wednesday, American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten testified during a House Oversight and Accountability Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis. During the hearing, Weingarten claimed she attempted to reopen schools during the pandemic as quickly as possible—but since there wasn’t “clear scientific guidance” her union had to “do it themselves.” While questioned by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Weingarten accused Florida of banning books and instigating a “culture war.”
5:40pm- Howard Stern weighs-in on Fox News’ decision to fire Tucker Carlson—the rant is even less funny than you’re imagining. What happened to Stern?
5:50pm- A biological male—Glen “Glenique” Frank—who identifies as female defeated 14,000 women competing in the 2023 London Marathon.

Meanwhile, Fox News viewership, perhaps unsurprisingly, has dropped precipitously.
6:15pm- In response to concerns that Pennsylvania House Bill 300 could force doctors in the state to provide children with “gender affirming” care, which includes surgery and puberty blockers, State Representative Emily Kinkead confirmed that it would.
6:20pm- According to reports, a Democrat State Representative in Minnesota is attempting to pass legislation that would allow the state to track speech they consider “hateful.”
6:40pm- Mother’s Day goes “woke”! Some companies are now allowing consumers to “opt out” of advertisements associated with the holiday. Is “Mother’s Day” now offensive?
