3:05pm- On Tuesday, Congressman Jeff Van Drew—Republican representing New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District—held a town hall meeting to address the estimated fourteen whales that have washed up along the Atlantic coast since December 2022. Many environmental experts believe the sudden, drastic uptick in whale deaths is linked to offshore wind development’s usage of sonar to map the ocean’s floor. Why doesn’t New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy do something to halt this disturbing trend?

4:05pm- On Wednesday, the House Homeland Security Committee held a field hearing in McAllen, Texas to address the crisis currently unfolding at the U.S. Southern border. Amazingly, no Congressional Democrats attended the hearing. Congressman Mark Green (R-TN) vociferously condemned his Democrat colleagues for boycotting the hearing, failing to help “shine a light on the truth,” and ultimately partaking in an unproductive “political stunt."
4:15pm- Following the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank, the Treasury Department, the Federal Reserve, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation announced they will guarantee all customer deposits—even those exceeding the FDIC’s standard $250,000 per depositor guarantee. While speaking on the Senate floor, Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) stated: “I’m not going to bubble wrap it…It’s a bailout.”
4:30pm- Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo—the Nigerian brothers hired by actor Jussie Smollet to fake a hate crime—spoke with Fox News and provided play-by-play of how the hoax unfolded in January of 2019.
4:45pm- On Tuesday, a Russian Su-27 jet collided with a U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drone—causing the drone to crash-land in the Black Sea. While speaking with the press, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and General Mark Milley denied that the incident amounted to a potential act of war. According to reports, Russia is now attempting to recover the $32 million U.S. drone.
5:05pm- The Drive at 5: Dr. Wilfred Reilly—Professor of Political Science at Kentucky State University & Author of “Taboo: 10 Facts You Can’t Talk About”—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss Stanford Associate Dean of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Tirien Steinbach interrupting a speech being given by Judge Kyle Duncan, a Trump-appointed judge serving on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Steinbach claimed of Judge Duncan’s guest lecture, “for many people at the law school…your advocacy, your opinions from the bench, land as absolute disenfranchisement of their rights.” What is happening on college campuses?
