Hey! Dillon here, and writing episode descriptions again feels weird but in a good way! This is Episode 92 of The Ringo Zone, and for our two year anniversary we talk about The Ringo Zone. Call it meta, call it boring, call it narcissistic. We’ve talked about our show before, esp. for special episodes, but this is a big anniversary. It’s our second year, that is ridiculously long.

We broke into the iTunes Top 100 chart in Australia very briefly, once, because of Clontarf. And then got a REAL GUY from Clontarf to be on our Christmas Special. We HAD a Christmas Special. Crazy Igor, all hail the Onyx Wizard, and remember that time Evan had to battle a coked up lunatic?

We’ve had amazing guests on, ranging from people that happened to be on Facebook messenger at the time to industry professionals (how???). Or most frequently Cyril the Wolf, because if Greg has to play a song every time there’s a flashback, we need him to talk about the song.

We’ve all made some amazing friends. We buy each other Christmas gifts. I’ve personally met two of these idiots. I’ve actually worked with two of these idiots, and currently still am. I used to hate writing these because I always put it off, and now I don’t want to stop writing.

Because, I guess, all that stuff is meaningless compared to you guys. Every time I see an ask on Tumblr, I suddenly remember that people actually listen to us and without fail, that blows my mind. The fan mail, the comments on Facebook, all of that means more than I can express. All of you, our core consistent group, thank you for sticking with us and listening.

If you guys weren’t here to keep this show going, and we stopped after 4 episodes, I don’t think these trash people would have eventually become some of my best friends and best creative partners. So, thank you, and I’ll stop now. It’ll take a second but we’ll be getting back to a regular release schedule soon. We’ll have some bonus episodes soon as well, including some of the requests we haven’t gotten to.
