Welcome to Episode 80 of the Ringo Zone! I’m Kayla, a new addition to/new editor of the Ringo Zone. In this episode, we discuss The Kindergarten Kid, asking the important questions like, “Why does Peridot’s gem not crack when a boulder falls on her?” “Could you make this gem monster any more horrifying, or is it already perfect?” and “Is Sabboth really the least-white member of The Ringo Zone?” We also get pretty deep into theories regarding bubbling, the potential landscape of Homeworld, the origins of Gemkind, and whether or not Pearl can DVR everything she sees.

Between technical difficulties and tightening work schedules all around, recording a podcast became touch-and-go there for a while, but hopefully we are back to an almost-regular release schedule; That’s almost entirely on my shoulders now, so no pressure or anything…

This is Episode 78 of The Ringo Zone! We talk about both Beta and Earthlings. It’s been a long time. Ton of stuff got in the way, and then when I went to trim the episode we found out that our recording was broken. Took a bit of time to record, and then a ton more stuff. We’re starting to get on a proper schedule now, though. One episode is with our editor and we’re recording another this weekend (probably), so yeah, stuff is coming, we’re getting stuff back in order.

Obviously, this release jumped over an episode. Bismuth’s recording was messed up, and we decided to release this than postpone a release even longer. We might end up posting that after we post Back to the Moon, even, we’ll see.

This is Episode 77 of The Ringo Zone! We talk about Steven vs. Amethyst, with guests KK and Tara, organizers of Beach City Con. We open up discussing their con, and then we move into the episode. Fun fact, this is the first Ringo Zone that’s clean! It’s also a rare sighting of a wild Evan.

So, Beach City Con is a sweet as hell SU convention that they’re organizing! They’re currently still raising funds to make it even doper, so, you should go and give them your funds. I’m not the best at pitching this. Go to beachcitycon.com and check it out, that’s a much better sell than anything I’ll be able to accomplish.

They were great, Steven vs. Amethyst was great, and that con will be great. That’s 3 greats. This episode is a little bit late. That’s not as great. Sorry.

This is Episode 75 of The Ringo Zone! We talk about Gem Hunt. Finally, yeah. This is late. At the start there’s a call for editors, which should pretty much explain why this one is so late. I have a lot of stuff on my plate and it’s hard to find time to deal with these. I realize this recording is crazy old. The Let’s Plays that we’ve been releasing will continue coming out daily or near daily because honestly, for those, I literally have to just re-watch the recording to check for any issues, smack the intro on it, and render it. That’s all. These are slightly more involved.

This is Episode 71 of The Ringo Zone! We talk about Kiki’s Pizza Delivery Service. Okay, yes, this one is a bit late, but you did get two back to back episodes last time, and this one was a weird recording, so you’re welcome, kids. I do feel bad about late releases, but I’m also struggling to actually set up and coordinate recordings. I don’t want to end up being forced to go on hiatus, no matter how briefly, due to scheduling.

The show is back to weekly episodes, and with our 3 day staggered releases, it’s weird that we are 13 episodes behind what’s airing. If you’d like us to try, and I do mean try, to release the newer episodes in the midst of that backlog, please let us know.
