Some people reach through a screen and rearrange something in you. Nirmal "Nims Dai" Purja was one of those people for me.
The legendary mountaineer — who climbed all fourteen of the world's 8,000-meter peaks in a record 189 days, and taught millions that nothing is impossible — is gone, lost in an avalanche on Broad Peak at just 43.
This episode is my tribute to him. It's also the most personal story I've shared: years ago, after a car accident and a near-death experience, it was his film that breathed life back into me when I needed it most. I've carried Everest in my heart my whole life — and through watching his film, it made me want to take the leap even more.
But his deepest teaching was this: it's never really the mountain outside that we must conquer. It's the one inside. So this is for him — and for the mountain you're standing at the base of. Whatever it is: take one step this week. In his memory.
In memory of Nirmal "Nims Dai" Purja. Keep climbing. 🏔️
Five days ago, the sky went dark in the middle of the day. If you've felt restless, agitated, or suddenly done with something this week, that wasn't random — it was the total solar eclipse in Leo doing exactly what eclipses do: revealing what's already been quietly cracking under the surface.
In this episode, I'm talking about the dream you've been sitting on, and what it's actually costing you to keep waiting.
What we get into:
I'm also sharing something I've been building for exactly this moment: Just Add Water (JAW) — a blueprint for taking the dream you've been sitting on and giving it real structure, opening in 2 weeks. More details soon — follow along so you're first to know when doors open.
Your home is always talking to you. So is your energy. Today, both of them are asking you the same question: what have you stopped pursuing?

The concierge is back with another upgrade — and this week's suite key unlocks something most of us have been quietly taught to feel guilty about: pleasure.
In this Key, Astrid makes the case that pleasure isn't indulgence — it's strategy. A fig eaten standing in the kitchen. Champagne on an ordinary Tuesday. These aren't luxuries. They're signals — small declarations that you're open, available, and alive.
Inside this Key:
This week's journal page is up — grab it free, link in bio.
Have you kept up with the other Keys? If yes, cheers to you. If not, the show notes (and my Instagram bio) will catch you right up — no judgment, just go.
Ciao and cheers, darlings.

You decluttered. You moved your bed into the Command Position. You even painted the door "the right" color. So why does your home — and your life — still feel like it's fighting you?
Because feng shui only ever fixes one layer. In this episode, I'm breaking down the framework this entire show is actually built on: the Ritual Haus Method. It's three layers, and they build on each other — Space (feng shui), Energy (human design), and System (the daily habits and organization that either match your energy or constantly fight it). Most people only ever work on the first one.
In this episode:
Do this tonight: the Ritual Haus Audit — one question for Space, one for Energy, one for System. Tag @theritualhausrules and tell me which layer surprised you most.

Darling, let's talk about those beautiful design shows we all love — the sledgehammers, the dramatic reveals, the couples gasping at their brand-new kitchens. I adore them. But here's what breaks my heart a little every time: these lovely people spend a fortune making a house gorgeous, and not once does anyone ask how the energy will actually move through it.
Welcome to Shui & Tell — where we walk a space together the way I've walked a thousand suites, and I show you the half of the map the cameras never do.
This week: the open-concept great room. The sofa floating with its back to the door, your eye shooting straight through the front entrance and out the back windows, all that good energy pouring right out the way it came. Stunning, darling. And energetically… set up to struggle. I'll show you why — and the one simple shift that changes everything.
Grab the free Map-Along at Home sheet in the links below and walk your own space with me. Because a home isn't just how it looks, darling. It's how it lives.
🗝️ Feng Shui'd or Feng Screwed? You decide.

To every teacher heading back this week, — this one's for you.
You spend your days filling other people's cups: the nervous first-day faces, the sharpened pencils, the hundred small needs that arrive before the coffee's even cold. So often, you forget to fill your own. This meditation is a quiet moment to do exactly that.
Recorded with love from someone who's spent 29 years on the other side of that classroom door, this is a gentle practice for grounding, releasing the weight you carry, and remembering that you cannot pour from an empty vessel. A few minutes to breathe, to soften, and to fill your own cup first.
Find a quiet corner, press play, and let this be my hand on your shoulder as you begin the year.
Here's to the first day — and to taking care of the one who takes care of everyone else. 🍎🗝️
From the Ritual Haus.
Darling, your second key has arrived — and no, it's not the label-every-jar sort of clarity your most insufferably organized friend won't stop posting about. Put the label-maker down.
This week, Astrid slips you into a suite and teaches the quiet art of the cleared surface — the kind of clarity that changes the very air of a room. You'll learn why clutter is rarely just clutter (that stack of papers? it's yesterday refusing to check out), the old idea of sha qi and why energy needs a path to move, and the deliciously simple ritual that turns tidying into something closer to magic: clear one surface, name what it's for, and watch the room exhale.
One key. Different doors. That's the quiet magic of the Haus.
Grab the Clarity journal pages and Map-Along sheet in the links below — and if your future knocked on the door tonight, darling... would there be a place to welcome it?
🗝️ New keys drop weekly. Keep yours close.

Today the gate stands at its widest. The eighth day of the eighth month — the peak of the Lion's Gate, when the light is most complete and the portal most powerful. This isn't a meditation for chasing that power. It's for becoming the still point at the center of it — the calm eye within the crescendo.
Together, we'll enter the threshold of light with reverence, hold the one intention you've carried through this whole portal, and — at the peak — seal it into the deepest current of the day. Because the great secret of this moment is that it isn't met with more effort. It's met with more surrender. The water doesn't fight the tide at its highest. It rises with it, and lets itself be carried. Best experienced on 8/8, eyes closed, at a still hour.
It is received. It is sealed. And so it is.

Does feng shui actually work? It's the #1 most-Googled feng shui question in the world — and in this episode, we're answering it honestly.
No crystals required. No woo-woo. No gatekeeping.
I'm breaking down what feng shui really is (hint: it's not a religion), why it's been used for over 3,000 years, and how the principles actually align with what modern science tells us about environmental psychology and nervous system regulation.
Then we get practical. I'm walking you through the 5 free things you can do TODAY — before buying a single crystal, cure, or hiring a consultant — that cover 60-70% of the benefits:
Plus: Can you feng shui a rental? Should you hire a professional or DIY? I'm answering the questions beginners ask most.
Whether you're a total skeptic, a curious beginner, or someone who's been meaning to start — this is your episode.
Pick ONE thing from today's list and do it before bed. Just one.

Welcome to Astrid's Haus Keys, a new weekly meditation series from Ritual Haus.
Every Monday, Astrid will hand you a single key.
Not to change who you are...
but to help you remember the person you've been becoming all along.
Our first key is Boundaries.
Boundaries aren't walls that keep people out.
They're beautiful front doors that allow the right people, opportunities, and experiences to enter with intention.
Find a comfortable place, take a slow breath, and allow yourself to unlock one new room within.
One key.
One week.
One quiet shift at a time.
Ciao and Cheers Darlings,
Astrid
