There's a cottage that lives inside you — quiet, mindful, and entirely your own. In this guided meditation, you'll cross a threshold through a winding path and a waterfall into a secret cottage, where something is waiting just for you: a gift to receive and carry home. This is a journey of crossing over and coming back — you'll return through the same pathway, whole and held, for your highest and greatest good, with something new to keep. Recorded in immersive sound; best with headphones, eyes closed, wherever you can be undisturbed.
You Are the Home | Ritual Imprint, Series Finale
We've reached the end of the road we've been walking together. Over five weeks, Ritual Imprint has moved through the stories we inherited, the rooms we no longer live in, the map that was never missing, and the job every room is quietly doing. And today — the truth all of it was leading toward.
This series was never really about your house.
You imprint on your home. And your home imprints on you. It's a two-way conversation that never stops — and every shift you made along the way, you weren't managing a space. You were tending yourself. In this final episode, we gather the whole series into one truth: your home is not a backdrop and not a project. It's a mirror, a keeper, and a living partner in becoming who you are. The peace you've been arranging room by room was never out there. You were remembering it in here.
You are the home. You always were. 🌊
Thank you for walking the whole way. And if this work stirred something — if you're ready to go further — Just Add Water, my four-week practice for tending your inner and outer home, is waiting in the links for when you are.

Good Day Darlings,
This week at Cabana Haus, the chandeliers have been passing along observations, Mahjong Week has officially begun, and a rather unexpected telephone call arrived from Vogue.
More importantly...
I'd like you to meet someone.
For quite some time, he's been quietly helping guests see how far they've already come. Today, Bennett Ashford, Cabana Haus's Director of Guest Perspective, steps out from behind the Concierge Desk for the very first time.
Join Astrid and Bennett for a Monday conversation about progress, perspective, and why the miles you've already traveled deserve just as much attention as the destination ahead.
The lobby is open.
We're so glad you've arrived.

I found a portal on my walk today.
There's an archway in the trees near me — the branches grew into a perfect doorway. And here's the thing: once you see it, you can't unsee it. And there isn't another one anywhere else on the path. Just this one. Waiting.
Liminal spaces are like that. The threshold between here and there. Between who you were walking in and who you are walking out. Most people pass right by them, eyes down, thinking about the day.
But when you start noticing thresholds... they start noticing you back.
(And the funny part? Last night a video about portals and liminal space appeared in my feed, unasked. As if the walk already knew.)
Keep your eyes up today, Darlings. The doorways are everywhere. You just have to be the kind of person who sees them.
Have you ever found one — a threshold that felt like it was waiting for you?
Affirmations for the meditation:
Entering the Secret Garden
Finding the Blessed Gift
Happy Thoughts About the Self
Embracing a Bright Future
So you found Feng Shui. Or Human Design. Or both. You went down the rabbit hole... and now you're standing in your living room convinced that everything is wrong. The couch. The front door. Your entire life, apparently.
And you're frozen.
Here's what I tell everyone who feels that way: please don't start with your whole house. Trying to fix everything at once is the fastest way to do nothing at all.
Start with one thing.
Your front door — is the path to it clear? Or your favorite chair — can you see the room without your back to the door? One shift. Live with it a week. Notice what changes. That ripple is your compass, telling you where to go next.
The first step is the same for everyone. The second step is different for every single person — because it depends on your home, your chart, and how you're meant to move through space. 🌊
This week's episode walks you through where to actually begin — and I made you a free one-page guide, The First Shift, to start tonight. 🎧

The Mahjong Society has concluded for the week. The tiles are resting. The guests are resting. Alistair's dignity is... recovering. (There was a pastry incident. One does not name names.)
But here's what your concierge learned this week, Darlings:
People think they gather because they have something in common. I've found it's the opposite — people discover what they have in common because they gathered. Someone laughed louder than they expected. Someone listened longer than they usually do. Someone discovered they weren't nearly as alone as they'd imagined.
That's the curious magic of a beautiful table. It invites more than meals. It invites stories. Friendships. And occasionally... second helpings. 🀄
The full weekend report is waiting — and yes, the Mahjong Society is accepting new members, now that Alistair has taken up Pickleball. (We wish him well. We wish his knees weller.)
Tell me, Darlings — when's the last time a table gave you more than a meal? 👇
Ciao and cheers. Your questions are always welcome — Ask Astrid is listening
The Art of the Gather: How Setting a Beautiful Space Becomes a Ritual
We've been taught that a beautifully set table is "extra." Fussy. Too much. This episode makes the opposite case: the preparation is the ritual — and it might be one of the quietest, most powerful things you can do in a fast, half-present world.
Using the ritual of a Mahjong night as our doorway, we explore why setting a space with intention — the pressed cloth, the color-coded tiles, the candle lit before anyone arrives — isn't decoration at all. Every element is doing energetic work: the tablecloth defines sacred space, color creates flow and calm, themed objects become love made visible, and the candle marks the threshold where the real world stops at the door. This is Feng Shui in miniature, and it's the whole idea behind everything I do — that the space shapes the people gathered inside it.
You don't set a beautiful table to impress people. You set it to hold them. 🀄🌊
This week: set one space apart — even a small one, even just for yourself. Light the candle. Clear the surface. Notice what walking into an intentional space does to you.

The Room Beneath the Room | A Meditation for Giving Your Home Its Job Back
A companion to this week's Ritual Imprint episode, Every Room Has a Job.
Where the episode teaches, this meditation lets you feel it. Settle in somewhere in your home — no tidying required — and let this gentle guided practice walk you through your space, room by room, giving each one permission to do the single thing it was always meant to do. The entryway that holds the day at bay. The kitchen that nourishes. The bedroom that finally lets you rest. This is the room beneath the room — the felt layer underneath the functional one, where your home stops being something you manage and becomes something that holds you.
Recorded in immersive sound. Best experienced with headphones, eyes closed, wherever you are right now. 🌊
This week, walk your rooms and ask them what they're for. You might be surprised what your home has been waiting to tell you.

Ritual Imprint | Week Four: Every Room Has a Job
Our homes aren't passive backdrops — they're active participants in our lives. In this fourth episode of the series, we explore an idea that changes the way you walk through every doorway: every room has a job. Part literal function, part energetic frequency — and when a room can't do its job, some part of your life can't either. We talk about why we've collapsed our rooms into doing everything (and feeling nothing clearly), plus three simple ways to give each space its purpose back. Next week: the culmination of the whole series.

New Moon in Cancer: A Meditation of Water & Homecoming
Tonight's New Moon rises in Cancer — the water sign of home, feeling, and belonging. It's a lunation that asks us to soften instead of strive, to feel instead of fix, to come home to ourselves. This guided meditation is an invitation to release what you've been forcing, plant a single intention in the fertile dark, and trust the tide to do the rest. Find water (or a hand on your heart — you're 75% water, and that's water enough), dim the light, and let this move around you like a current. Recorded in immersive sound with affirmations woven throughout.
I am home. I am held. I am exactly where I am meant to be.
