Yes, we know about Hannibal, but who was this river town named after? Megan is in full "history geek" mode in episode 22. We take you waaaaaay back, over 2,000 years, to the story of the general after whom Hannibal was named.

We tell the story of Hannibal's parks, from the newest (and battiest), Sodalis Nature Preserve to the iconic Riverview Park. And, we also find out how many marathons Mary Lynne has run in her life.

Over the last few years, Hannibal has become a destination for the large passenger ships that make their way up and down the Mississippi from July to October. In episode "sweet" 16, we give an overview of the phenomenon that is the river cruises and what attracts them - along with tourists from all over the world - to Hannibal, MO.

Episode 15 covers performers that came to Hannibal that we didn't know were coming, and a performer who was supposed to come to town and didn't (and who is now dead to Megan). And, whatever you do, always look for the Adam's Apple!
